Respectfully, the music we wrote here is original. We are tremendous fans of Basil Poledouris so we did attempt to create something that would fit into the realm of his work for Conan. (Hopefully your comment means we were even more successful than we anticipated.) We always attempt to homage some element of the score in any film we are turning into a musical, but 95% of the music is original, as is the case here.

I learned just how much power the music had when I realized I had no idea what kind of movie I was watching. Was it a drama? A comedy? I couldn't tell until I saw the movie in the theater with the music there to tell me how I was supposed to interpret what I was seeing!
Me and Subatai are pretty sure it is. Crushing your enemies is all well and good but after a while the smell of crushed enemies gets old. And lamentation gets noisy.

I'd love to see something about those martial arts/ninja/action movies of the late '80 and the 90's. Like Bloodsport and Kickboxer. Or less known...like "Best of the best I & 2" with Eric Roberts, lol!! And really unknown and terrible like "IMmortal combat". I don't know if anyone has seen them back in the days on VHS. Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Gary Daniels...There were some really tragicomedic stuff...
I just caught the 40th anniversary of Conan the Barbarian on the big screen and it made this all the more satisfying to watch after. The amount of effort and creativity put into this is next-level. The singing of Conan also takes me back to being young and watching 'What's Opera Doc?' on the Saturday morning Looney Tunes cartoons.

I just caught the 40th anniversary of Conan the Barbarian on the big screen and it made this all the more satisfying to watch after. The amount of effort and creativity put into this is next-level. The singing of Conan also takes me back to being young and watching 'What's Opera Doc?' on the Saturday morning Looney Tunes cartoons.
How have I JUST discovered this masterpiece? I've been pushing a wheel for far too long :-(
