From my experience, at this point, it seems enough to end the ritual on a kind note and give the 'license to depart'. You may also kindly ask the spirit to close all opened gates. Some practitioners like to do the lesser banishing ritual afterwards - not to banish the summoned spirit but as a general cleaning procedure. S Conolly has a great ritualistic circle or preparation process in her book as well. I am hoping for a quick healing and recovery process for you. Be blessed.
