I was tripping cuz I commented on this 10 years ago wow time flies. The discovery of this mix changed who i am. I rediscovered how much i love all styles of hardcore at age 32. Here i am at 42 still attending festivals because of this. Thanks Cotts for helping me realize who I am and for also getting me through some very tough times. Life is all good thanks to people like you who make mini soundtracks to our lives.
Tracklist: 1. DJ Kurt - Straight from the Underground 2. Tha Playah - Keep them titties jumping 3. Joey Riot - Death and destruction 4. Scott Brown - Juggernaut 5. Scott Brown - Sonic Boomstick 6. DJ Mad Dog - Dangerous 7. Tommyknocker - The World Is Mine (DJ Inyoung & DJ Static vs. System Snare Rmx) 8. Evil Activities - We're gonna get you 9. Fakkah - Impressive
The first track is DJ Kurt - Straight From The Underground I've heard that one so many times, but didn't know what it was and finally looked it up. Figured I wouldn't be the only one wondering :)
This is how I found gabber as a genre back in early highschool days. DJ Cotts mate, you are one of the people who shaped my music taste in my early teen years. Thanks for that :)
Oh my god, THANK YOU!! I'm so glad I finally found this kind of music. For most of the time while looking for EDM, I kept looking at mainstream genres such as trance, techno, dubstep and such, they're awesome don't get me wrong, but I was getting bored with them. Then I heard gabber somewhere and decided to youtube search to see where it takes me. Thank you so much, again. :)
it makes me so happy that Fakkah's song is the most played section of the video. i remember downloading it off limewire, what feels like eons ago. Listening to it on repeat i loved it so much.
Ah, those millennium kicks never bore me :) I like the whole range of Hardcore, enjoy tracks from the early to the modern era. Millennium Hardcore takes the cake in terms of kicks however. Back then there was a ton of diversity in kicks which made every track it’s own experience to listen to.

frenchcore is a dirty word :p in france , this word is for all hardcore song made in rave by wasted dj . this is not a real music "style" , just a garbage for poor quality music . please skip this word when you talk about hard music , it is an insult for heavy kick music
No matter how many times i listen to this mix my ears will still be ringing with my hardcore headphones and the music blasting at max volume... Thank you cotts my ears are now ringing with enjoymend XD
the vinyl turntables are Stanton ST150's (im pretty sure its hard to tell because they arent in obvious positions) the silver cdj's are CDJ-800 the black cdj's are CDJ-1000 the effects mixer between the CDJ-800's is a EFX1000 the dj mixer is a DJM-800 hope it helps :D
Just on the side of progressive gabber as opposed to classic aggressive hardcore. I love how when you have good equipment it really shows, so many channels and no drop out, great stuff.
