I feel I'm the only person who really doesn't like the Premiere Ariel. Personally, I just don't gravitate towards very busy fabrics/designs. However, I do agree that the 30th Ariel is the best of the limited releases. The colors are so beautiful and vibrant

I love your Ariel collection! The premeire Ariel doll is beautiful..I'm getting the Disney mermaid Ariel(the one in the cardboard box without any plastic) in the mail today. :) Your collection is stunning! I am jealous. I grew up with Ariel also and loved TLM growing up. I can't beleive they made a Triton doll with real actual hair! So perfect!
I almost agree with you all the way down the line. I would flip Premiere Ariel to slot four and then D23 and then original Ariel and then the new 30th Anniversary Ariel. Great review. Love Ariel.
Unfortunately my 30th Anniversary Ariel arrived with a damaged box. The worst damage of only a couple of boxes I ever got damaged. But I was lucky to get her at all , when she popped back on site a few days after she sold out! And I agree she does look more like the movie than the original Ariel mermaid doll.Even though I like her I wouldn’t rank the Primer doll that high. But you are more fond of Ariel than I am, so you can rank her anyway you want to, as I know she is your favourite princess. I do love the D23 Ariel, but would rather sale her, if I can make what they say she is worth. Thanks for ranking your favourite, I know that was hard for you, with as much as you love her.
I was 5 days old when The Little Mermaid came out and surprisingly not my fave Disney Princess. D23, Platinum and the "Kiss the girl" Ariel's are my fave. Aurora is actually my fave princess due to personal reasons
I got her 3 years ago. I paid 400 for her. I don't want yo go over 500 for any of them. Ariel are always high. But she is my fav of the 11" dolls. And the Ariel 17" goes to the first one released of her.

I was surprised to see that you don't have the Original Designer Ariel with the insanely long hair and the blue dress - I managed to get her for a decent price last year - I hope you can add her to your collection soon! I believe that's the only LE Ariel you're missing? I'm also really hoping there will be LE dolls for the Live Action TLM coming out.

The leaf design is my favorite. Anyone that disses it is just trying to rationalize not having one. Worth saving and getting on ebay.
