Nuno was perhaps the most underrated guitarist of the 80's - 90's era. Also, perhaps one of the best. His melodies and transitions rival Eddie Van Halen. IMO.
This song just tugs at heartstrings. Gary... great voice and emoting; Nuno... great harmony. Just a beautiful creation by Extreme. May they rock on forever!
THINK it would be great to see how songs like this would do if re-released now. Songs that are really timeless like this have no excuse NOT be hits even today

I remember going to see Bryan Adams in Manchester, Maine Road. (as a UTD supporter that was a major grievance) He was amazing. BUT, when Extreme came on beforehand.. Woo-Ahh-Woo they were mindblowing! One of my top ten moments of all time was seeing Nuno do a few solos, right in front of my eyes! Class beyond class :)
I saw them, too, on the same tour, at Portman Road; home of the mighty ITFC. I only went to see Extreme and remember sitting on the practice pitch drinking beer when Bryan Adams came on, completely unconcerned as to whether I watched him or not. :-)
Everyone of their lyrics are so brilliant as well as the vocals and music but those lyrics talk about spot on my God we need to get these guys in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame
The guitar solos written by nuno bettencourt are the finest ever written. Finer than Eddie van halen even to whom nuno owes so much . To emulate then surpass . That's always the goal. And nuno is exemplary.

The extreme song for love is a song laid bare in an emotional sense. Extreme love is what the Divine has for us, to make spirituality all about us and a relationship with us, making us the wife of a husband. Romantic and spiritual relationships work with extreme forms of love and devotion.
