Does anyone remember the Howard The Duck movie??? Lea Thompson (I think it was her in this movie) doing the nookie with the duck. Traumatizing to a 8 year old...I'm seriously lucky I turned out ok.
See for some reason I always thought Howard the duck was kinda inappropriate for a kid but I just watched it like 3 days ago and I was thinking why did I think it was a terrible movie to watch as a kid? 😂
Fun fact: there's a deleted scene where Eric gets shot in the shootout. Him in the explosion scene is actually after he got shot and is dead. However, producers thought it was too violent, so they cut it. Except they didn't refilm anything to explain why he died or put him closer to the explosion. It's a mess.

One of Paul Rudd's favorite movies. Everytime he goes on Conan to promote a film he uses the clip of the kid going off the clip. It is brilliant. Also if you love this vid may I suggest the podcast How Did this get made. I think they even did an ep on MAC and Me too.
Fun trivia fact: Debbie's big sister Courtney is Tina Caspary (aka Barbara from "Can't Buy Me Love" one of my all-time favorite movies)! Please do the 80s Horror movie "Trick or Treat". It has cameos from Ozzy and Gene Simmons and it stars Skippy from "Family Ties". it's awesomely bad! (Main character releases demons from playing records backwards,) You would be my hero for life.
I watched Can’t buy me love 3 times a day for over a year! Kinda sad, huh? I bet if you love that movie, you probably liked Just one of the guys, as well!
This is the movie Paul Rudd always showed on Conan O’Brien when he was supposed to show clips of whatever film he was repping at the time. Love Paul Rudd.
I have just been working my life away, through rough patch mentally and i just freaking love your videos. They make coming home after work a laugh. Thabk you Jamie!
I interviewed one of the actors. The movie lost funding and had to take money from McDonald's and this is why you have a dance break in the middle of the movie.

Sadly, she's grown and still hasn't seen it. I was so obsessed that I picked this over ET every time! Still a weirdo, just old now😂

I must have just been a real idiot as a kid. This movie was everything to me when it came out, lol, as was the Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Legend, Dark Crystal...and my favorite ‘80s kids’ sleeper, Little Monsters!
It was the perfect movie at the perfect time for me! I was about 12 at the time, so yeah, a scene where they replace the apple juice with pee...lol, right up my alley, or any young boy for that matter 😂
If you haven’t seen Teen Witch it would be SO fitting in this series lol Plus as I was thinking to suggest this McDonalds Courtney pops up and what else is she in? TEEN WITCH. It’s fate.
I keep putting this movie in the comments. I hope she sees this and eventually gets around to watching it! The rap scene is the funniest thing I have ever watched in a bad but great movie! The lead girl is Robin Lively, Blake Lively's older sister!😂
My father took me to see this movie when I was 6 in the theater. I cried at the end because my parents were divorcing and I was emotionally traumatized.
Thank you so much for making all these videos. They are so funny!!! Really appreciate the time and energy you put into them. It’s just nice to have something fun and lighthearted to watch when things in the world are so crazy. Really appreciate what you do ❤️
So my parents bought me this movie as a child and the little boy in it has the same disability that I do which is spina bifida so even though I don’t use a wheel chair I think they bought it for that reason. I obviously had horrible taste and enjoyed the movie as a small child. I ended up watching this when I got older because everyone always makes fun of this movie or talks about how bad it is and holy crap it was bad. They are so creepy looking how I wasn’t terrified of this as a small child I don’t know.
So I just discovered you last month and you’re now easily one of my favorites to watch. Would you ever cover Killer Klowns From Outer Space? It’s a really bad movie and you could do some crazy makeup design around it.

It's actually really funny to note that whenever Paul Rudd used to appear on Late Night with Conan O'Brien he likes to show a clip from his newest film, but would inevitably shows a clip of Eric rolling off a cliff and falling into the water. Rudd even showed the clip when promoting Ant-Man. Hahaha
This video gave me such a wave of nostalgia. The memories came rushing back. I remember this little alien. Man it brought my back. I loved this little guy!!!
Rewatching this four years later as my "multitasking entertainment" while I work (from home lol). @@SuperSara924 it’s hilarious because he’ll be on Conan to promote whatever project he just finished, and they set it up as if he’s going to show a clip of that film, and instead it’s the child flying down the mountain side at full speed.
I just saw this part of the movie as i read your comment, and i fell over laughing because it's all so funny to take in at once... I was actually trying to chew up a chocolate chip cookie and eat it during this event, but I think like a quarter of what was in my mouth now lives in my sinus cavity 😂😭😂
Does anyone remember the Howard The Duck movie??? Lea Thompson (I think it was her in this movie) doing the nookie with the duck. Traumatizing to a 8 year old...I'm seriously lucky I turned out ok.
Yes! Her daughter has a very funny story about that! I can't think of her name....she was in Ed Sheeran's Perfect video and some other movies.
That used to be one of my favorites!!
Its on Netflix now
I remember that movie!
See for some reason I always thought Howard the duck was kinda inappropriate for a kid but I just watched it like 3 days ago and I was thinking why did I think it was a terrible movie to watch as a kid? 😂
Oh my gosh, i love the smile after you explain "Bologna on Bunny Bread!"
They kept that ending in the Japanese cut of the film. All the aliens do is just dig three bullet out and the kid comes back to life.
"There's something weird going on next door. If only I cared enough to look"
Exactly how I am with my insane neighbors.
The amount of tears and wheezing from laughing at this review is unreal! After the whoo woo woo, I could NOT stop laughing, everything after that was too much. I was struggling to breathe for a long time. Omg!
Also, Jennifer Aniston is an extra at the McDonald's dance party.
What?!
@@mowganashwey, yep! You blink and you miss her.
Your kidding
It's literally her first IMDB acting credit lol. She's like in the corner of a shot for just half a second.
Waaaait whaaat?! How did I not know this
I just parked at the Costco so i can watch this whole thing. It can’t wait lol
Your at costco now!!?? Good job getting those chores done! Lol
Lol! Same! Watching this as I make and eat lunch with my little! 😂
I love everything about this comment.
Omg that's me!!!! Lol I took my boyfriend some lunch to his work and while waiting for him to come out to get it, I started watching this and then I just proceeded to sit in the parking lot of his job until I finished it LOL
Wait, you guys pull over to watch RUclips?!
The nervous chuckle that turned into a "eugh" when Debbie kissed the daddy alien on the mouth got me😂
It just occurred to me that Eric is in a wheelchair so how the hell did his mother think he built a jungle in the living room?!
THANK YOU. That made me insane. As if the rest of the movie made sense 🤣🤣🤣
As someone who uses a wheelchair that was my first thought lol. As the mother of a special needs son that should have been Eric's moms first thought also 🤣
@@rockygroves4154 right?! I have a special needs son and I always try to make sure I don’t treat him as disabled but this is just going too far 🤣🤣
@@eonkshabonk lol yes you should have an idea of what your kids can and can't do where has Eric's mom been his whole life 🤣
@@rockygroves4154 seriously! I mean could any kid that age accomplish that in one night. Or even an adult?! 🤣🤣🤣
One of Paul Rudd's favorite movies. Everytime he goes on Conan to promote a film he uses the clip of the kid going off the clip. It is brilliant. Also if you love this vid may I suggest the podcast How Did this get made. I think they even did an ep on MAC and Me too.
I was gonna say this lol
Saw it that clip years ago though it was hiliarous 😊
even 2 years ago I love your editing soooo much. It really truly embodies my socially intrusive thoughts
YESSS CLASSIC
I second this!
She’s also in Teen Witch! A childhood 80’s classic that’s kinda yikes as an adult. Still perfect though lol
Loved her in My Mom's a Werewolf :)
I watched Can’t buy me love 3 times a day for over a year! Kinda sad, huh? I bet if you love that movie, you probably liked Just one of the guys, as well!
Kid: “Can We Have Baby Yoda?”
Mom: “No, We Already Have Baby Yoda At Home.”
*Baby Yoda At Home*
This is the movie Paul Rudd always showed on Conan O’Brien when he was supposed to show clips of whatever film he was repping at the time. Love Paul Rudd.
You should review Romy and Micheles high school reunion
That movie gave me unrealistic expectations about how my 10 yr high school reunion actually would be.
oh one of my favorites!
Yes please!
I love that movie!
Ahhh that would be amazing but I think she said she doesn’t want to review R-rated movies on her channel so I dunno if it will ever happen
Suggestion: From Justin to Kelly
I would love this haha
Y E S
Yaaaasssss
Yes!!!!!!
Or On the Line!! That Lance Bass movie lmao
I have just been working my life away, through rough patch mentally and i just freaking love your videos. They make coming home after work a laugh. Thabk you Jamie!
I interviewed one of the actors. The movie lost funding and had to take money from McDonald's and this is why you have a dance break in the middle of the movie.
You should do "Harry and the Hendersons" about a big foot that comes home to live with a family. Its a classic 1980's bad/good movie 😆
Yes!!!!
Yesss pls
Agreed! Then after that she can keep with the Bigfoot theme and do Cry Wilderness from 1987.
I liked that one, saw it in the drive in!
@@pepperjune84 I've never heard of Cry Wilderness so I did a quick Google search and OMFG just the few photos that popped up are terrifying and gross, like wow wow wow. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it wasn't that 🤣🤣🤣
I LOVED this movie as a kid! I tried turning my old VHS copy (yep, in my mid 40s and still have it) into a DVD or Blu-ray disc when my daughter was little, but the film was too degraded. Sadly, she's grown and still hasn't seen it. I was so obsessed that I picked this over ET every time! Still a weirdo, just old now😂
“ I kinda felt bad even though he was suups uggo” 😂
😂 I read that as she said it
I saw the Netflix "Mystery Science Theater 3000" riff of this...I was so excited to see you were covering it too!
Every Thanksgiving we play MST3k all day while people mill about and I cook. It's our tradition. Last year we watched Mac and Me while eating dessert. :)
I WAS WONDERING WHY THIS LOOKED FAMILIAR!! i just couldn't place where ive seen this
So I decided to have a few drinks and rewatch these “makeup and movies” videos....10 out of 10. I definitely would recommend. I cried laughing 😂
“Hey babe here’s your bob”
“My what?”
“Baloney on bunny bread”
His reaction was so pure 😂
Ikr lmao
His little smile is so sweet!
Yes! I was gonna say the same thing 😃
My favorite part was Nick’s face when you gave him his “B.O.B”🤣 I couldn’t make it through this movie when it was first released!🤣
I know better by now than to drink anything while watching these videos because it will inevitably end up out my nose or spit out across my room but I still do it. Definitely my favorite channel on RUclips 😂
Oh, and side note... Jennifer Aniston is one of the dancers in the McDonald’s scene... 😂😂
Which one? What is she wearing? I was trying to find her
@@stephanie3848 I can tell she is the girl in the front wearing the yellow shirt with the overall shorts.
I was today years old when I realized Mac was bc of McDonalds.
Oddly enough that's just a coincidence, Mac's name in the movie just stands for "Mysterious Alien Creature"
@@kazfraz6411 well I KNEW that. But Mac ...Bic Mac... McDonald's sponsored it not being snarky ...I meant I knew that part but they could've said mab mysterious alien being, or curious alien being... But Mac and mcDonalds
Yeah, when I was younger I didn’t pick up on the McDonald’s connection either. Now that I see it I can’t imagine how I missed it
*today* *years* *o* *l* *d*
The mom is from My Girl!! And Black Sheep with Chris Farley. She’s been in a lot of older movies
The lady that plays the mom is Christine Ebersole. She's a big Broadway star and has 2 Tony awards. Obviously after this gem.🤣 She's been in a tonof stuff and was on SNL in the early 80's. I knew I'd seen her before.
She was in Amadeus.
OMG I've actually seen a Broadway show with her like 10 years ago! She was with Angela Lansbury and Rupert Everett. She played a dead ex wife. Lol She's fun and never takes herself too seriously, which is good.
No lie im 40 and this was legit a favorite movie of mine as a kid. Showed it to my 12 year old autistic son and he loved it too and I quote him "mom the 80's and 90's are the best" he loves all my fav childhood movies. You should do The Neverending Story!
I've been in a really bad depression funk for the past week but watching this video, especially the blooper at the end where you're doing the 90s dance in front of the green screen, seriously cheered me up. Thank you so much for doing this series ♡♡♡
I'm sure the piles of cocaine in the writers room is what made that grocery store explode. I love your movie reviews. Thanks for making me smile today. 🥰
I must have just been a real idiot as a kid. This movie was everything to me when it came out, lol, as was the Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Legend, Dark Crystal...and my favorite ‘80s kids’ sleeper, Little Monsters!
Me too! I’d love for her to review Labyrinth!
We must be long lost BFFFFFs totally serial Fred Savage and Howie Mandel were awesome in Little Monsters...Apple Juice scene was epic!
It was the perfect movie at the perfect time for me! I was about 12 at the time, so yeah, a scene where they replace the apple juice with pee...lol, right up my alley, or any young boy for that matter 😂
Oh my god, the never ending story was my favourite!!!!
Anybody remember the movie “Gremlins” ? I wanted a gremlin soooo badly! The furbies from the 90’s era reminds me of gremlins hahaha
I've rewatched Jaime's videos so many times and she always makes me cry from laughter. I find something new every time. 🤣
If you haven’t seen Teen Witch it would be SO fitting in this series lol
Plus as I was thinking to suggest this McDonalds Courtney pops up and what else is she in? TEEN WITCH. It’s fate.
Teen Witch was a wonderful movie .. don't you dare suggest otherwise 🤣 the only exceptionally cringey scene was the "Top That" rap 😭
Yes. Teen witch!!
I keep putting this movie in the comments. I hope she sees this and eventually gets around to watching it! The rap scene is the funniest thing I have ever watched in a bad but great movie! The lead girl is Robin Lively, Blake Lively's older sister!😂
She also came out in can’t buy me love with Patrick Dempsey where she was one of the popular girls in the high school
@@charliejoyce5602 she also came out in Can’t buy me Love
My father took me to see this movie when I was 6 in the theater. I cried at the end because my parents were divorcing and I was emotionally traumatized.
Thank you so much for making all these videos. They are so funny!!! Really appreciate the time and energy you put into them. It’s just nice to have something fun and lighthearted to watch when things in the world are so crazy. Really appreciate what you do ❤️
Also Spice World. I loved that movie when I was a kid. Loved the Spice Girls back then. I even still have the Ginger Doll I got still in the box 🤣
Omg yes spice world 😭😭
So my parents bought me this movie as a child and the little boy in it has the same disability that I do which is spina bifida so even though I don’t use a wheel chair I think they bought it for that reason. I obviously had horrible taste and enjoyed the movie as a small child. I ended up watching this when I got older because everyone always makes fun of this movie or talks about how bad it is and holy crap it was bad. They are so creepy looking how I wasn’t terrified of this as a small child I don’t know.
I loved it too! Then I grew up...🤣
So I just discovered you last month and you’re now easily one of my favorites to watch. Would you ever cover Killer Klowns From Outer Space? It’s a really bad movie and you could do some crazy makeup design around it.
We had this on VHS when it came out and watched it all the time. Found out recently the end scene where he gets killed by the explosion was originally him getting shot in the crossfire which was actually filmed but then changed. Lol!!
Pulled at my heart strings even though he's like supes ugo 😆
I had to play that line back it was so good.
Loving makeup and movies. MST Reboot covered this movie too and it was hysterical- PRETTY NIIIIICE
"If only I cared enough to go look" 🤣🤣 I feel this comment in my soul
I love this series of yours; I was cracking up. You should do the 80's movie "Teen Witch"!
TOP THAT!
That movie was so bad i had to scream into a teddy bear when ot was over
@@therealfinnaspring8585 The younger brother in that movie inspired some very unpleasant emotions in 10 y.o. me... made me want to rip my own face off Lol
YESSSSS.
Awwwww...I loved that movie!
I’ve been binging this series since I discovered you like 2 days ago and I am just so in love! I drink a ton of water and I’ve had to make sure to go to the bathroom before watching or else I’ll pee myself from laughter! Love you so much
7:15 - the mom was also the “girlfriend” of Vada’s Uncle, who worked at the body shop out in California, in My Girl 2 - also My Girl 2 is such a sweet movie!!!
Yesss I remember that
I was just gonna comment this😀
OMG. I’m drinking alone on a Friday night and this had me laughing so hard I was actually crying. Thank you.
My 2 fav girls on RUclips: Jamie and Bailey. Hilarious and I've learned to use eyeshadow in our new mask reality! Lol!
Seriously, right?! Both are my go-to's when I want to feel good!!! 😍
I recognized her too, (Christine Eberson) I had to Google it. For me, I remembered her from “My Girl 2”. She’s been in tons of stuff. If everyone said what they remembered her from we could definitely do an age check lol. She’s been in the game for a good while.
Yep. My Girl 2!
I’m going through a really bad break up and I haven’t laughed more than when I watch your videos. I love this!
You can do it, girl! Wish you all the best
Same here. 7+ years. Its been a rough month but she will always make me smile
Very much the same here, well the aftermaths of a really long and toxic relationship. Glad that I found Jamie 😍 Pretty much the only person who makes me laugh. 😆
@@mallorymurphy2678 I wish you heal from your experiences. Breakups are really tough.
Hope things are looking on the bright side now!! It took me a couple years to get past my last one. I hope to never "let myself suffer" that long again (while trying to heal and recoup), but it was an important process!
I just found Jamie's youtube page and I couldn't be happier!! She's hilarious, does beautiful makeup, AND watches some of my fave movies from the 90's. Thank you, Jamie!
This was one of my kid brother's favorite movies back in the day! 🤣 My mom and bro still do the hands-whistle-communication thing when they want to get each other's attention.
I LOVE how you put the scenes of yourself in there and said things like, "It's perfectly choreographed except for this one dancer that couldn't really seem to get it together." Omg i died at this and when you got hit by that car during the parking lot dance scene. Freaking hilarious. 😂👌
I thought at first I’ve never seen this movie or heard of it but I realized I must’ve really suppressed it because once I saw the living room turned into a little forest, I was like oh my God I have unfortunately seen this movie. So thank you Jamie french for once again bringing up my suppressed childhood memories.
“The dancers are dance chasing the NASA guys” 😂😂
I'm biased because I love pigtails/twin buns, but with that plus the orange and pink, this is one of my favorite Makeup and Movies looks thus far. Also I love how you're drinking Dr Pepper during a review of a Coca Cola movie
can i just say how much i appreciate the time and effort you put in into making your videos? MASSIVE THANK YOU FOR MAKING THESE VIDEOS!
Hahaha
I was casually sipping La Croix and blew it out my nose when you started singing 🎶When your legs don't work like they used to before...🎶
Thank you 💖
This video gave me such a wave of nostalgia. The memories came rushing back. I remember this little alien. Man it brought my back. I loved this little guy!!!
OmG whenever I need a laugh I look up the compilation of Paul Rudd using a clip of this movie on Conan! It’s the only reason I know this movie 😂😂
Same!
Rewatching this four years later as my "multitasking entertainment" while I work (from home lol). It's like rewatching a movie - catching things you didn't the first time around, understanding things the person on screen is saying in new/different ways - super fun. This movie wasn't even on my radar the first time I watched your commentary and now I am convinced I *need* to make it a rainy-day-weekend-watch ASAP.
I've never seen it, nor ½ these movies, & but for Jaime, I wouldn't want to. Now, I'm thinking I need to!!!
“...weird little open mouths.”🤣
P.S. My sister used to be a MAC employee at your local Ulta and said she helped you out one day! You are hilarious and talented we love watching your videos!💗
