I've never tried the Giorgia Armani, but, I will not be without my Dior. It made it through the hot humid summer here in Atlanta and I fell in love. It's the only foundation next to my Estee Lauder Double Wear that I can use in the summer.

Finally, the only foundation-related video that actually made sense. I had t get help translating this one with a friend who does interpreting. I am 100 percent deaf and i wish you would have turned on captions. There is now a group of us, deaf, wishing you had captions because this one is growing in the community. Anyhow, I’ve always used MAC face/body. Interestingly - both stood out and i hate makeup. The way you describe these, even if you’re not fond of something over another product - you describe it so uniquely that it makes sense for the person wanting to know what the other product would do. “ I like the sheer ‘makeup not looking like makeup’ look but i was fond of and only did ever use “MAC Face & Body”. That said -due to how you explained them. Sold me on both and I wear zero makeup 95 percent of the year. You weren’t over the top biased, over zealous or hyperbolic and in todays’ world - I find this to be the more accurate and usually more honest approach. You stated what you preferred without leaving negatively comments on the opposite one - you explained who its good for and why. Im not a fan of vlogs and hate make up videos…but … you did it. The only make up video that didn’t make me want to pull my hair out. Thank you for taking the time to do this video. Being that I like how you describe things and a small group (that I know of) whom are deaf are not watching you - it would be a great deal if you were to turn on auto captions or even post type/transcribe what it is you said. The latter being more time consuming - but it truly makes a difference to a small percentage of the population. Hearing people often tell me “after getting used to watching captions [when they are with me] they find they are more clearly understanding words they would have thought were other words or words not understood and now unconsciously rely on them” (these are people who formally said ‘captions are always in the way’ but since they can be turned off and on - its an option [turning off and on] that need not be in the face of those who choose it. Plus, its great for people who don’t want volume playing in case they are in an office cubicle ! Hah. (Just advocating for a life of silence with a need for language)
I’m so Sorry if this is obvious but I thought anyone could turn on captions on a YT video? I think you are saying that the creator gets to turn on the ability of a video to have captions turned on when they publish a video?
I’ve tried them both and prefer the Armani. It is full coverage on me (I do have blemishes) and it lasts all day. It is not luminous on me bot it looks beautiful and natural. It’s become my Holy Grail.
Aw, I have been faithfully using Armani Luminous Silk for a few years now as a daily cover. I tried the Dior in hopes that it'd look just as "natural" and glowy, but I was disappointed that you can see the texture and it oxidized on my combo skin. I used the Armani one at the gym, on my 12 hour shifts and it did just fine...except for the later, it usually needs blotting by 10hr mark. The Dior on the other hand looked ok till I step out in daylight..then it's two shades darker. 😔
@@katechipata9934 I honestly gave up on liquid foundations lately, I’m all for concealer and powder foundations. MAC studio fix of Patric Star’s powders paired with his Stay All Day spray is 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Have you tried mixing the two? I’m waiting for someone to mix a regular foundation with either Dior backstage or Mac face and body. That would be interesting to see what texture that mix would be :) or mixing Dior face and body with Mac face and body. No one has done it yet
i love the formula and longevity of dior, but the way it oxidizes is a dealbreaker for me. the armani, on the other hand, is just the perfect shade and doesn't oxidize, but isn't as long lasting as the dior one. Can anyone recommend me a bulletproof natural light to medium coverage foundation that stays all day? Still yet to find my holy grail :(

I mix Mac face and body with Haus Labs and it goes well!

Fenty has worked for me as a natural light weight and it last..
Do you wear primer ? I have the Armani one and it’s fantastic. Also, use setting spray to finish
