    Qasqais are Turkic tribe .İt is known all over the world and this carpets are turkish ,not persian

    Qashqai has nothing to do with persian/persia

      Qashgai are nomads who moved around Persia. They are Iranian citizens. Their rugs are considered Persian. The central government and the Qashgai have often been at odds

      @@edwardb7811 Iranian citizen is different from being persian, persian is an ethnic group who speak farsi, the other ethnics are not persian at all.

      @@edwardb7811 also Qashqai's culture is nomadic Turkmen which is totally different from urban persian culture.

      @@khanqashqai I don't see what point you are trying to make. Iran is composed of many different ethnic groups and the Farsi (Persian) speakers are the dominant ones. Other groups like the Qashqai are in the minority and haven't always been well treated by the dominant group. However, their contributions to Iran--and the world, such as their rugs--are extraordinary.
