They arrived to south-eastern Persia from Central Asia in XI century. Quashqai language, like most of the languages in that region, belongs to the Turkish group of languages, but they are not Turks in a national sense. Think that after 1000 years living in the same region of Persia, they become part of it, they are Persians.

Qashqais are Turks, not Arabs, not Lurs and not Kurds.
