    This was a wonderful review. I love that you discussed possible discount options and promo codes. Prep material can be extremely expensive and any amount that can be reduced from the initial price helps a ton!

    Appreciate it if there are separate video to look at how these review courses are handling new exam coming up in 2024, which is a critical factor for anyone who plans to take some or all new exams.
    How they handle changes can say a lot about them.

    Thanks! your videos are always concise and easy to follow. It sounds like a popular downside in many of the test prep courses is the lectures - they're often dull... I think it's too bad because an upbeat lecture really helps drill down the key points, whereas reading seems to be enough for purposes of simply covering large volumes of study material. A boring book is better than a boring lecture.

    • @TestPrepInsight
      @TestPrepInsight  Год назад +1

      Great point. The lecturer usually makes or breaks the lesson

    Off the charts review of the best CPA prep courses! No doubt Becker is excellent, but Eduardo likes Gleim for its' shorter video lessons and excellent text books. Gleim's price point is better too. Like most CPA exam test takers, Eduardo is most nervous about the FAR section. Thanks John for the excellent review!!

    The detailed review was very helpful as I am trying to pick and needed to understand the differences between the courses. Learning style is very important and most reviewers do not address this issue. Thank you for bringing this out as well as the time commitment involved with each of the coursed.

    I am most nervous about the Far section. I am also nervous about the upcoming CPA exam changes 1/1/24 (I think). i would love hear your opinion on why Roger's didn't make your top three. Also, does Becker's provide memory aid acronyms like Roger's does? Thanks!

      Yes changes are coming next year - all the more reason to pass and get it done in 2023....Roger is OK, but just didn't grade out as high as the others on an overall basis. Thanks for watching 😀

    Do NOT get Surgent if you work full time, the number of questions may seem like a good idea but you'll never have time for them. Pay a little extra for Becker or one of the other programs that may actually treat you like you don't spend 24/7 on a study program.
