As a kid I got a PS3 with the promise that it would be able to play PS2 games on it. Sadly it was the newer PS3 version I got, and back then I didn’t know about the different versions, so I thought I was just lied to.
Same here, I dont care if I got a yellow light of death on my fat ps3, I wanted to play Vice City.
I wanted to play Sonic Heroes and Tom and Jerry War of the Whiskers (licensed games and Sonic were my bread and butter) and I thought I was set with my fat model but alas, mines was 40gb and only the 20 and 60 gb models could play PS2 games apparently

I think it’s cool how Nindendo designed the GameBoy Micro to resemble a Game & Watch.

Fun Fact: the Final PS3 Revision can be easily jailbroken... with a freaking USB Stick... what in the name of Jailbreaking.
If you're interested in doing some longer videos, I'd recommend giving Caddicarus a try, he does (mostly) video games, but he's more focused on comedy and first impressions on the stuff he looks at instead of really reviewing stuff in depth, usually having longer videos looking at multiple games/other stuff that fits the video's theme
I'd suggest starting with the video "The Pricey World of the WORST PS4 Games Ever" since that's the first video where he started doing this new formula, and I think they only really get better after that
When I was little I had a DS lite that was my favourite colour, which is green, but unfortunately it broke and was either sold or stolen.
Long story short my mum took it to a place to get it repaired, then when she went back to collect it they said they sold it. Either we got scammed, or she somehow didn't realise she was giving it away. I don't remember the details, just that I was very upset.
Later to replace it my mum got me a Mario branded one, though I never actually played a Mario game until over ten years later. Made it awkward on the... one occasion when a kid saw it and tried to talk to me about Mario.
I later got a 3DS, which I actually still have. Though the screen flickers now and it's a bit small so a couple years ago I bought a 3DSxl to use instead whenever I feel like going back and playing DS and 3DS games.
I also had a PSP, can't quite remember whether I got that before or after the DS. The only games I still remember playing on it off the top of my head are Ape Escape: On The Loose, Ben 10: Protector Of The Earth, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game based on the 2007 movie.
My first non-handheld console was the PS2, though we got that second-hand only a few years before the PS4 came out. Come to think of it most of my consoles and handhelds were second hand.
I did play PC games as a kid too. Mainly Lego games, point and click kids games like Pajama Sam and Spy Fox, and a bunch of weird cheap educational stuff from what I remember.
I remember playing on the original NES. Was annoying having to blow into the cartridges, but loading the games into the console was very satisfying
How about Super Mario Galaxy, Scott's favorite game.
I remember back in the late 2000s when I wanted a "next gen" console for my birthday, and I chose the Ps3 over the 360 because of the Red Ring of Death issue (and because I owned the other playstations before, so brand loyalty). And I definitely got a Ps3, the normal slim model.
Then, immediately after I got it, the Xbox 360 Slim was announced.
The cooling was better. The smooth black exterior was better. Some 3rd party games like Bayonetta was actually playable on it, so that was better. It was so sexy...and I was JEALOUS.

The Ps3 vs Xbox 360 video is a great one that looks at the pros and cons of both console and which one (in scotts opinion) was better
I thought about getting a Wii mini, but I immediately changed my mind when I remembered that it wasn't backwards compatible with GameCube games

The original ds slander is insane 😭 i love the bulky retro look, and i don't mind the screen, im used to playing on the sp 001 screen lol
I had a DS Lite as my first DS, and my sister had the OG model. When my battery was dead once, I played on hers, and I truly can't fathom why people like the Lite's design more. It feels like an XL before the DSi, and I don't accidently turn it off by moving my right hand
It felt way better to me for some reason probably because it wasn’t as sharp
The games were 50 dollars, not the consoles

I got 2DS because I played Starfox 3D in a Gamestop with the 3D on for 10 minutes and got a migraine. Why not get the same thing for cheaper just without something I physically can't use?

yeah definitely with Scott on the original DS is so uncomfortable and the DS lite is so much better
I have two PSPs the fully blacked original one and the one with the removable better case still works
Edit: So apparently the all black is called E1000 and the removable battery one is called the 1000...
