I am a descendant of Anthony Dierdorff, shown by records to have been an Anabaptist from Germany, through Holland, into the USA, in New Jersey early 1700s where his descendants for 3 generations were called Anabaptists, however currently MOST of his descendants have gone to protestant thinking and practice typical pagan traditions: xmas, easter, sunday-keeping, etc.. I appreciate this story being told by an aged woman who appears to be a Godly woman not with a worldly appearance. I am 74. I show this to my grandchildren so they know where we came from. One of my descendants was a Signer of the Declaration of Independence, though I myself do not vote. (Dr. Benjamin Rush).
I am a staunch scholar of International Development Studies (IDS) with religious studies as part of the program. Even if it sounds like I have already garnered enough credits to allow me to graduate in my area of discipline, I feel like pursuing more courses in Mennonite Studies. Though the story of Michael Sattler, Felix Manz, Margaret Hottinger, and several others are so painful and hurting, it is equally rewarding as this would prepare me and others to confront the kind of world that seems to be standing in our way and retarding our movement from going forward to seek the glory of his kingdom...

Limmat river, not Limnat. Small errors make you look not so well informed (95 theses at "Augsburg).
