Waist Deep Powder at Whistler // Skiing Pillows and Deep Powder

- No insane drops or anything, just skiing some nice pow and some sweet pillow lines. Whistler got around 80 cm in 48 hours a day or two previous, so we knew we had to take advantage of the dump. unfortunately peak chair and all the alpine was closed for high Avalanche risk. The lens of the GoPro got foggy for some of the shots so I apologize for some of the blurry shots.
Such nice conditions!! Caught a day with about 60cm and that was so fun, brings back great memories - peak chair also closed all day but there's just soo much to have fun on there it didn't even matter, awesome vids btw, this made my day in May 2021 : )

How do you like the bent 100s in these conditions? i have them for boot deep powder and love them but moving to more snow soon so wondering if i should get something closer to 115
They work surprising well but definitely sink in when it’s that deep. I got a pair of the bent 110s for touring and deeper resort days which have better float but similar feel

do you put anything on your top sheets to keep the snow from sticking onto them?
I’ve never put anything on them. The snow that day was really dry so it wasn’t sticking but it definitely sticks sometimes.
What helmet do u use with ur go pro
Would you recommend the Bent Chetlers They look like they are down well in the powder
I would definitely recommend them. They work very well for me in all conditions and they work well for park skiing aswell. This is my third pair. You definitely sink more in the powder than you would with a wider ski though.

Gota a BC100 too but worry about its floating, whats your weight and the length of the ski? Im 133lb and I brought the 180.
I’m roughly 130 pounds on a 164 and Don’t have any issues with them

Yup these are the chetler 100 164’s. They are also center mounted
