I have this type of Hop up and I junked it as the air leak issue is so bad. Air seal nozzle tip does not come in contact with the hop up bucking lip causing air to leak inside the magwell.

Yepppp. I need a new bucking. Mine will go all day fine then out of nowhere start jammin in the prowin. my bucking has good seal but when it is installed i see 3 lips that the bbs get stuck on

Late to show, but I have a question. My hopup is a rotary and I was wondering, do I need a specific bucking for the rotary system like the g&g blue specifically meant for rotary hopups? Or does not necessarily matter.

Do you absolutely have to disassemble the whole hop up unit?

Its easier to remove with the pressure off the hop up arm when taking it off and for sure when putting it on.

Even on no hop setting therebis a little nub protrusion to keep the bb from falling out

This is the wrong way to disassemble it. First they pull the barrel with the nub still in, this is wrong as the nub can get stuck and damage the bucking.
Then they take the wheel off, no need.
You should: pull the pin from the hopup arm, flip it upside down so it falls together with the nub, remove C clip and pull the barrel out. Repeat in reverse to assemble.
