Taka and Chester Bennington were friends and Linkin Park has been a huge inspiration for Taka. So it's not surprising that you hear some Linkin Park vibes in some of their songs.
"Make it out alive" is a great catchy song.
OOR have changed their style over the years. I'm not very familiar with the different genres of rock, but I'm sure others can tell you more about it. They have everything from heavy rock songs with screams and growls to pop/rock ballads.

You should definitely react to the live performance of this song. It's better than the recording. That energy on stage is perfect and taka's voice is something else.

Re: genres, they have a little something of everything from rock, pop, alternative, pop punk, etc. The "rock" in their name goes beyond the genre though, and it's more about the rock lifestyle.

Yes. OOR is highly influenced by linkin Park. It's been said that the moment of silence in the first video you reacted was in honor of Chester Bennington. This song is the soundtrack for monster hunter now, which is an on the go game like Pokémon Go. There is a documentary about the making of this video, and a lot of it was filmed on location.
They were formed in 2005. They are considered rock. They have music in all types of rock. They have collaborated with sleeping with sirens, Avril laving 5sos panic at the disco and recently with Ed sheeran.

If you want to listen and appreciate this band, listen to their live concerts, not the studio MVs.
You already did "Take what you want", do "We Are" Live Ambitions tour at japan dome. OOR is one of those bands if not the only band that plays way better at live concerts than studio.
