The one reason I enjoy watching you mix your colors on camera and not fast forwarding: all the tidbit chatter and suggestions you make during it. I learn so much from you. Thank you!
Thank you for existing, really! I just started working with resin and I'm always watching videos since then. I'm from Brazil, but since I had discovered you, I just can't watch anyone else! You're so creative, so sweet and your voice calms my heart ❤ you're amazing
I love the way the tops turned out, I'm going to try your colors because they are beautiful together. Please continue to mix your colors on camera, I love listening to everything you have to say, you have so much knowledge and I learn so much from you! People can just fast forward if they are bored. But I NEVER do! Thanks Julie!!
( My Bad.)😁 Love your personality . Your talented and it shows in your work.. Love the colors thay work.. Thank you for sharing , because. Sharing is caring. Thanks for keeping it 100. .
Julie, I really love the tops of your coasters. I like the gold bottoms too with that scaling around the edges. Don't be disappointed, even if you didn't get exactly what you wanted, they still look bloody awesome 🥰
I love listening to the description of your colors and mixing them up on camera. The other side didn't work but the top is absolutely Gorgeous Julie 😊❤
I know the back didn’t turn out as you wanted but they are beautiful, I think I’d have left the teal edging. Really pretty Julie , stay safe love and hugs xx
I love these colors and the effects you were getting, even before you added the clear. I often wonder how some of these flowers and effects would look like without the glitter center. Even with the “flowers”, I think the color effects might be astounding standing on their own. I haven’t started with my plans for joining the art world, though I really would like to. Your work with resin and the effects you try to accomplish inspire me to “get on with it already”. (But, procrastination is my first, and middle name😏 I really liked that you went with the purple glitter. You ask questions, and, just like with a movie, sports match, or other things you watch on the TV, I find myself responding emphatically with my choice. I think you tend to go with the option I recommend more often than not. The good news is that the back side is beautiful. You can always tell people that was the side and effect you were going for. (If you try, you can always find a good side. Even if it is, “well, that didn’t work. But I learned …”
I love the way the top turned out. Even with the other coasters you made, I thought you used too much gold. I wonder to if that is why the white doesn't show up. I love watching you so you can try remaking them as many times as you want
I am sitting here telling you to put some in your little heart!!!Julie put some blue and gold in your heart! Put your extra flakes in your heart! Ah well, I was talking to you but you couldn't hear me. lol 😆 I think the top side before you flip them over is gorgeous, quite stunning. You can use that side can't you? I hope you don't toss them in the trash bin. If you are going to, please don't, I will take them off your hands. 😊💕🤗♥🤗💕💕
Thank you for sharing. It’s not easy to share something that didn’t work out. The colors are wonderful. I love your videos. I believe you will get it 💖💖💖
I’m sorry they didn’t turn out to your liking. The tops are pretty though. Thank you for sharing the not so good as well as the good. It’s all a learning experience for us.
It’s ok I like the tops better anyway! The tops are beautiful! I love that you show the successes and the not so great ones. And as you have said yourself we learn from our mistakes.
Julie...the tops of these turned out very pretty. A few thoughts about why these didn't turn out like the other Dragon scale coasters. 1.) You used twice the amount of gold mica powder in this set which I believe made it too heavy, 2.) By adding the glitter/mylar flakes in the center, I'm thinking it stopped the flowing action and didn't allow the resin to move about, 3.) you used a lot more clear in the center with the other set which inspired the colored resin to shift and flow around more, and final, 4.) you allowed the resin to relax and thicken for a little while in the other video whereas the resin was much thinner/looser in this video which I'm thinking might affect how much the resin flows and mixes. Hope you don't mind my sharing these observations. 😉😉😉
I like a top. So give you a complete contrast on the other side not a big deal to worry over. When you did your flowers you'd make sure that the gold would stay suspended and not go to the bottom. Maybe its the same thing?
I know you're disappointed about what you were trying to achieve on the other side but my goodness the tops are gorgeous! So glad you decided to post the video.
I have recently started some small resin projects and found you while looking for ideas. I absoultely love your videos, I find them charming and calming. I also love that you show the ones that didn't work out quite right. I gotta know, what do you do with the poor guys that don't turn out?
I love the facing side before you de-moulded them, actually. Not sure what you were trying to achieve - I sense something different from how it turned out, but as they’re sitting in the moulds, I think they look stunning. 🖤
I know nothing about what your doing except from watching videos like this but like you said maybe to much gold so maybe half the amount of gold but the top side is very pretty. :)
I think they are beautiful. I wonder if you put the darker colors down first if that would change the outcome? You put down the gold first them the white and that is exactly what you got when you flipped them. Ah well, If your going to make a "mistake" at least let it be one this gorgeous.
I love the peacock side (bottom or is it the top)?! What is usually the bottom is gorgeous!! Love the purple & teal! What about using a light silver, too!
It's a shame the top didn't work out too well, although the edges are really pretty. The back is beautiful! I love those colors together! Not a complete loss. Just use the back as the top instead.
Hi Julie, i love ypu videos, im trying to order all the bits for this current piece as i love it. However i was wondering if you know if the crackled effect would also work with the same colours and pigments you've used here but with a 1.1 ration craft resin by CraftResin? Would really appreciate any advice. Please keep uploading your amazing 👏 ❤ xx
You could have done 2 and 2 with the glitters. Then you wouldn't have had to choose. I like the backs. I miss the kookaburra birds. I like them. They're so cute.
I believe that you are possibly too heavy handed with the gold mica power. It's too heavy and just settling on the bottom and not mixing with the other colors to get dragon scale effect your looking for. Maybe with those colors try silver you can get that in a liquid pigment you can gold also maybe that will work better
The one reason I enjoy watching you mix your colors on camera and not fast forwarding: all the tidbit chatter and suggestions you make during it. I learn so much from you. Thank you!

I agree fast forward if you don't feel the need to listen.
Love the tops of them though and really nice to see an attempt when it doesn’t quite go to plan! It reassuring :)
I think it’s awesome 😎 Dragon eyes
I think the same thing too. ♥

Too much gold :(
I agree. I LOVE both sides! The gold side might not be what you wanted but I think it is gorgeous.
I love love the top of the coasters. So it wasn't a loss.
I love listening to the description of your colors and mixing them up on camera. The other side didn't work but the top is absolutely Gorgeous Julie 😊❤
I love how the tops turned out. They're beautiful.
I am so happy I found your channel! I really enjoy your instruction. Thank you!
I find that the Pearl Ex powder you want to use less. The tops are absolutely beautiful!
It does seem to be a very ‘heavy’ pigment.
They look like eyes staring at you. They are pretty.
I know the back didn’t turn out as you wanted but they are beautiful, I think I’d have left the teal edging. Really pretty Julie , stay safe love and hugs xx

Since a few weeks fan of you and your work😍,you’re great! Love from Holland
So pretty. Love the colors
Both sides are really pretty !
I love the sparkle in the middle. Looks like a real stone peaking out
Poured side is so pretty
You used an insane amount of gold mica powder, which you then used like 3 rounds of. The tops are gorgeous and the gold isn’t bad looking.
The tops are gorgeous ❤
I think the top was beautiful!
They are really pretty. ♥️

Beautiful tops 😍, looks like the gold was to heavy, really beautiful technique 😍
I love the aqua and purple side. Gorgeous glitter 😍!
They are lovely! They look like crystals! Love the effect!
I love the color scheme! Peacocks are gorgeous, and a lovely inspiration. I think this came out quite nice.
I love the tops
It’s ok I like the tops better anyway! The tops are beautiful! I love that you show the successes and the not so great ones. And as you have said yourself we learn from our mistakes.

Tops look fine
I like a top. So give you a complete contrast on the other side not a big deal to worry over. When you did your flowers you'd make sure that the gold would stay suspended and not go to the bottom. Maybe its the same thing?
It's very pretty, thank you. Sorry, I'm using the google translator, hope it's well written.
Hey, the Top side is just fine.
I know you're disappointed about what you were trying to achieve on the other side but my goodness the tops are gorgeous! So glad you decided to post the video.
I think the tops are wonderful! Keep at it don't get down. I can't wait until you figure out the issue.
Did ya put the center twice or was that an editing error. Lol. Love how it turned out. Awesome effect!
The tops are gorgeous love those colors
I have recently started some small resin projects and found you while looking for ideas. I absoultely love your videos, I find them charming and calming. I also love that you show the ones that didn't work out quite right. I gotta know, what do you do with the poor guys that don't turn out?
There gorgeous look like eyes

I really loved theses.i wasnt expexting so much gold. But both sides are beautiful. I need theses
Love the top side, so very pretty
Enjoyable video as always ☺ 👍
Glod takes over, not sure why, but I have learned to go easy on the gold. very pretty tho.
I know nothing about what your doing except from watching videos like this but like you said maybe to much gold so maybe half the amount of gold but the top side is very pretty. :)
Love the peacock color!
I think they are beautiful. I wonder if you put the darker colors down first if that would change the outcome? You put down the gold first them the white and that is exactly what you got when you flipped them. Ah well, If your going to make a "mistake" at least let it be one this gorgeous.
Tops are pretty
Love the tops so pretty! Sorry the bottom didn’t come out though but you will master this as well. Practice makes perfect as they say!
I love peacock colors! 🦚
It’s absolutely beautiful!! I love it!!❤️ 🇺🇸
I think these are beautiful even if the bottoms didn’t turn out as anticipated 😊 happy accidents! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Just clear dome the tops and they will be gorgeous. Both sides are very pretty.
GORGEOUS : );
aw when you turned it over was like, awww nooooooo, keep going honey love all your vidoes xx
Mica powder does that with me too ! But the to sides are gorgeous!
These are stunning ❣️
I love the top!!
Well, crud. The back and edges are gorgeous. Wonder what happened? I'm sure you'll figure it out. Love the colors.
Gold is heavier so it will always be more prevalent and fall to the bottom..❤🎨👩🎨
I love the peacock side (bottom or is it the top)?! What is usually the bottom is gorgeous!! Love the purple & teal! What about using a light silver, too!
They look like eyeballs!!!
Well no purple other side, but it looks great. Take care.
It's a shame the top didn't work out too well, although the edges are really pretty. The back is beautiful! I love those colors together! Not a complete loss. Just use the back as the top instead.
I too was thinking about why the mica didn’t mix as well, you used the plastic cups that have ridges in the bottom.
Some micro need mixed up in alcohol first or they clump

Would love to see videos you think don’t work because maybe it’s not what you intended but some
One might like it anyway and want to try
Love these x do you think you can do these without using pastes, only using powder and ink x
Try gold universal tint

When you did the turquoise you did a rim instead of a puddle?
I think it’s because you started with the gold but the top is beautiful
You could have done 2 and 2 with the glitters. Then you wouldn't have had to choose.
I like the backs.
I miss the kookaburra birds. I like them. They're so cute.
I thought right away too much gold, Julie 😅 but the result is still pretty cool 😎
Is the mold you are using from M & S?
Have you tried alcohol spray to burst the bubbles instead of the torch
The tops are beautiful. Coming from someone who knows nothing, I thought it was to much gold
Just love the backs though
What temp is your torch set to? I use a heat gun. Thank you
Gold is heavy and sinks. Try using a lot less gold. They are pretty though.
At 17:52, seems to restart a portion of the video again. Did this happen to anyone else?
You put the gold down in the centre first.... think that could be the issue
Or alcohol ink gold
I believe that you are possibly too heavy handed with the gold mica power. Maybe with those colors try silver you can get that in a liquid pigment you can gold also maybe that will work better
Is the gold too heavy
