Elim has the dumbest “honor” code in the game. Like I enjoy watching people play like kenzo play elim but the rules that people like him play by are so dumb
Kenzo doesn't really play play any rules tho? Do you actually watch him play at all lol. He's usually pretty chill and goes with whatever the lobby goes with, sometimes they do the Honortard rules, sometimes they go full monke, he just goes with the flow of the match he's in usually.
@@robertsteiner4696eh, he trys to go for 1v1s and doesn't ever usually jump on someone who's already fighting unless theyve done it to him. Even then usually.

That's probably because no one plays duels though. Like literally nobody, and ranked is just full of the worst kind of players so they don't really have a choice outside of Elims and Brawls lol.
@@robertsteiner4696just cause it says low player count doesnt mean no one plays it. its quite easy to find a regular duel in less than 1 minute, if you dont have that patience idk if youre playing the same game
@atomik_bernie8478 I live on the East Coast of the US where the largest portion of gamers on the globe live comparatively and I would be lucky on peak days and hours to get a regular duel in 5 minutes. It's better in ranked but again.....no one wants to play ranked, because it's full or parry and react Shaman and Gladiator bots. I question too you as well if we play the same game tbh.
@robertsteiner4696 bro just play 1v1s it's easy brawls doesn't take much time. All you have to do os fight an extra guy and mostly everyone on there respects the 1v1
@erickbonilla3680 This is the equivalent to saying "Just parry bro" but for game modes. Actual NPC level of response. We don't play games to stare at a queue for several minutes. Take the L and move the fuck on.
Honor "players" have dated back to DS1 pvp (and probably before that) and would invade and expect Honor duels against the host and two phantoms. They'd even sometimes attack you (red phantoms can attack each other) if you break their ridiculous made up Honor rules. Some things never change.
Toxicity is the core of Soulsborne community. If you consider red phantoms attacking each other a toxic behavior, well then, you're toxic yourself as well.
youre talking about something completly different. as an honor player from demon souls and dark souls, into eldenring and for honor, honor rules were made for tournaments. as there hasnt been any since ds3 honor rules dont exist in elden ring. however you CAN still uphold the rule #1 of honor rules so to speak and that is RESPECT THE 1v1 no matter your role. In for honor thats the only true honor rule. respect a 1v1. if you break it, and both players are truly honorable, the only way to fix it is kill you, the one who ruined it, heal up, and get back to the 1v1.
In for honor its still the same, however ds players and for honors are completley different, as for honor players hold many honor rules, and went off the DS rules. I ignore all but 1. respect the 1v1.
@@dedprice3142 "tournament rules" have no bearing on invasions nor do they have bearing in casual 4v4 game modes in FH. If you want to 1v1 strictly, there are avenues for that. Your own teammate purposefully playing against you or playing poorly purposefully, is called griefing and is actually punishable, unlike ganking in team modes (which is what you are supposed to do). When push comes to shove, your honor rules are going out the window when the enemy starts honourably losing.

@@propheticrain-maker1486 you need to play ds 1-3 and experience a "tournament" its not a real tournament, its just where the host sets down a ring of glowing stones or sets down glowing stones in some formation to indicate where to fight. then he lets himself get invaded by some form of taunters tongue (an item that causes you to be rapidly invaded, and invaded more than once at the same time) The invaders get rewards for killing other invaders, or co-opers the host summons, and same for the co-opers, so no matter what as long as the host doesnt die, everyone is getting tons of rewards. If you attack the host, youre attempting to end the tournament, and stop everyone from having fun, getting rewards, souls/runes, etc. This is why its "respect the 1v1" and "kill anyone who doesnt respect it, even if that means a 5v the guy who disrespected it" additionally, alot of times the host IS a fighter in the tournament, so if he dies the tournament ends, but everyone is ok with that as its fair. The comment i commented on thinks these rules because theyre called honor rules, carried over to for honor. they didnt. Those are a seperate but similar kind of rules and all im trying to say is the only rule similarity is "respect a 1v1"

personally i think we are confusing honor players with just tryhards. when nova begs the opposing team to attack him at once it's because he knows he has a better chance of defeating them all at once than one at a time. if I see a guy who dominates my team (and me) I would act the same. I will try to create an advantage in any way. In dethmatch it's never an honorable play this mode just isn't made for it.
This situation is reversed in 2v2. any person waiting for an opponent in this mode is honorable. If people behave like those in the video, they are not honorable idiots, they are just idiots

It may please you to know that with the most recent patch, next Gen systems can opt for a "performance mode" under display settings. This locks you to 1080p but uncapped framerate, allowing for like up to 120 fps.

Folks like the goki and Yeas are the main reason Elim has a lower player count. People who want to play the mode as its intended just can't be bothered dealing with those kinds of idiots deliberately sabotaging the game because of their stupid made up rules on how they think the mode is meant to be played and will punish those who don't do it that way.

If you want honor go play duels. No one has time to wait twenty years so you can let everyone get all the buffs and revive teammates just for you to have a “Honorable” one vs one.
Some people prefer to play the 1v1's on elim there's nothing wrong with that, but if the enemy team is ganking then they need to suck it up and gank 😂

A lot of griefers play elim, and just bad players in general. For some reason it's just an entirely different environment, one that fosters people that have never amounted to anything important in their lives, letting their insecurities fester and not really getting any better at game at the same time.

Here’s how I see it. If you don’t wanna gank, that’s fine. But if they start ganking, you should gank back. And if you aren’t gonna gank back, AT LEAST don’t let them res and get buffs. And don’t feed revenge just because your little honor codes were broken. That shugo was such an imbecile. And the people who were letting the enemies get buffs and watching them res while they could have gotten the 1v1 they so desperately needed.
