Well just like you are not supposed to pray to Jesus, you weren't supposed to idolise Muhammad. Which is why there was supposed to be no images of him. We should all focus our attention and worship to the creator.

And this God in the flesh came to serve and humbled himself to fulfill for what he came down to us to do. Jesus limited himself to the state of being a human being and still God at the same time. But because he limited himself, he had to do his Fathers will and not his own.
