Anthony Ruggiano Jr. is a former member of the Gambino crime family, which is one of the five families of organized crime in New York City. He is the son of Anthony "Fat Andy" Ruggiano, who was also A Capo, a high-ranking member of the Gambino family. Anthony Ruggiano Jr. has been involved in various criminal activities, including extortion, loan sharking, and racketeering. However, it is important to note that engaging in criminal activities is illegal and not condoned by any reputable organization or individual.
Michael Franzese is a fascinating individual with a compelling story. He gained notoriety as a former mobster and caporegime of the Colombo crime family based in New York City. However, he has since turned his life around and now leads a motivational speaking career, sharing his experiences and advocating for positive change.
Born on May 27, 1951, Michael is the son of legendary mobster John "Sonny" Franzese, who was a prominent figure in the Colombo crime family. Growing up in a mafia-controlled environment, Michael was exposed to a life of crime from an early age. His father, Sonny, was a notorious figure in the underworld, known for his involvement in various illegal activities.
Michael entered the family business and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a caporegime in the Colombo crime family. He became involved in various criminal activities, including racketeering, extortion, and money laundering. However, it was his involvement in a gasoline tax scam that brought him widespread attention and made him a household name.
In the 1980s, Michael orchestrated one of the largest gasoline bootlegging schemes in history. He and his associates would dilute gasoline with cheaper additives, avoiding taxes and earning millions of dollars in illegal profits. This operation made him a significant player in the organized crime world, and he became known as "The Prince of the Mafia."
However, Michael's criminal activities came to an end when he was indicted on multiple charges in 1985. Facing a lengthy prison sentence, he made the courageous decision to leave the mafia life behind and cooperate with federal authorities. This move not only saved his own life but also led to the dismantling of many organized crime operations.
After serving time in prison and testifying against numerous mobsters, Michael embarked on a path of redemption. He renounced his past life and transformed himself into a motivational speaker, sharing his unique story of personal transformation. Through his speaking engagements, he aims to inspire others to make positive changes and avoid a life of crime.
Michael's journey from a notorious mobster to a respected speaker has captivated audiences worldwide. His experiences and insights provide a rare glimpse into the dark world of organized crime and the power of personal reinvention. Today, he is a sought-after speaker, delivering talks at corporate events, universities, and even TEDx conferences.
In conclusion, Michael Franzese's story is a testament to the human capacity for change and redemption. From his early involvement in organized crime to his decision to leave the mafia and pursue a new path, he has demonstrated remarkable resilience and personal growth. Now, as a motivational speaker, he uses his past experiences to inspire others and advocate for positive change. Michael's journey serves as a reminder that it is never too late to turn one's life around and make a difference.
You, Sammy and Michael are my favorite RUclips channels. It’s is so great to see you collaborate with them. It is the modern day equivalent of seeing crossover episodes of our favorite tv shows in the 1970’s.
It is great to see
Skinny Joe Merlino coming for that top spot.
@@danamissouri he’s not a rat so he can’t talk about “other” stuff.
Great stuff. You and Michael are icons!❤
you could tell mike was in a good mood here. hes always a bit different when he talks with someone from the old life (well not with everyone you know who i mean) you can see the reminiscing going on behind his eyes and how he relaxes more.
I told several of my friends about you and Michael. We all hope you and Michael don't get tired of telling your stories and any of your comments and opinions about whatever you talk about. Keep up the good work "you's two"....👍
Ohhhh Antony. You’re spoiling us now. 😊

We love your channel!! ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Michael is great love his channel been a follower of his since his first episode
You guys are great together
When the times comes for Anthony, Michael and Sammy to sit together, the world might just stand still and im here for it.
Anthony is doing a great job as human being. Helping people with their drug habits. Helping with the genre where people discuss mob, mafia or Costa nostra. I mean I'm glad he never got made and flipped. Cause you would be dangerously good at it. And we don't need that. He had the sammy one now Michael f. He actually has no beef with anyone which shows you he wants what is best. Great job. Plus he's not talking like a robot so I don't have to turn him off.
Two of my favorite Men in one place!!!! This was fun, watching you guys laugh and tell stories. ❤
Beautiful boys. Can't wait for the rest

Great video fellas!! Gotta love the chemistry between Michael “the kid” franzese and Anthony “Quack quack “ ruggiano
I love these guys. Grew up in NYC in the 70's and 80's. My family wasnt mobbed up (unless you count NYPD), but I knew the neighborhoods and the scene very well.
Born on the LES of Manhattan, family in Bensonhurst and Sheepshead Bay, went to high school in the Bronx.
Anthony talks about the Ritz on 4th Avenue which I knew well. 😂
This is the first time I've listened to Anthony. He seems personable.
This was a great episode 🔥🔥
My husband who's 75 has the energy of a 45 year old! Me, on the other hand, am 71 and feel like I'm 90 🙄 God bless you both 🙏
Anthony, GREAT interaction between you and Michael Franzese (I only wish I had seen this video sooner). Let's be honest, with all the trash-talking often times between various gangsters, it was very cool to see two former made guys showing genuine affection for one another. As ironic as it may appear when I state the following: you and Michael seem like genuinely nice human beings.
Oh yeah....May God be with you Anthony!🙏
Ohhhh yeah!!
Love it!
This was great. You two have great chemistry. You should do each others show every once in awhile
Alright Anthony that was a good show with Michael. Could have done with being longer but maybe the two of you can have a longer talk on Reformed Gangsters. Good video made my day. Thanks Anthony from John G in Scotland Stay Free and healthy. Thanks
