At 1:50 ~ you talk about insects collecting smart data, not big data. I think it's important to clarify the difference between ' lots of example of the same situation ' and ' the minimum number of info you need to answer a particular question '
I also studied electrical engineering to get closer to data science but mine was after a degree in biology 🧬 which was a lot less quantitative. During COVID I decided to take part into a CS degree 📜 Something that maybe I should’ve done a lot earlier given my interests Anyway love the content
last category of data: temporal or physics? is this correct way to explain this category? temporal means time varying but any quantity which is varying with time need not to be coming from natural laws. for example lets say I am measuring size of queue in a bank window for all time in a day to decide whether to open another counter. this data will be temporal but not governed by any physical law. am I missing something?
Wouldn't there be a bias behind data that doesn't have a lot of examples. It essentially sounds like sample sizing? I imagine certain data doesn't necessarily require tons of examples but that can't always be the case right?
I want to think that the image is mirrored and that he is actually left handed and writing normally... Otherwise his mirror writing skills are too scary O_O
At last, someone that explains things in plain English. Looking forward to acquiring your book.
Thank you for the content! Your notes are awesome. They remind me of a concept map.
Thank you Steve for the amazing Summary
Very interesting! Many things I hadn't thought about before. Considering building a career in Data Science, you man help me a lot!

"Everyone is competing whos data is bigger!" Buaahahah, i love it!
Very very good, you remind of a Carl Sagan of data science.
I really love the motivation behind data science

Also there is unbalanced and balanced Data, very important. If you have many samples of label A and only a few examples of label B.

nobody else is wondering how he's writing backwards?!
:)
it seems the video is flipped, just because the wedding ring is on the 'right hand' :-)
ruclips.net/video/eVOPDQ5KYso/видео.html - NancyPi also did a video where she used a mirror to flip the image while filming.

how does he write in a opposite way? Its so cool but I am getting distracted by the fact....lol
