Fun fact: in C5S1 all the weapons had moddable hitscan versions in the files that could be swapped out and unvaulted at any time. assuming Fortnite kept adding hitscan versions of the weapons since then, they’d probably be able to do a hotfix where they change them all into hitscan lol

I don't think it's just about the hitscan stuff. It's a vaulted weapon that shouldn't be in the game.

Based on surveys and whatnot I think chapter 6 will likely have a mix of both depending on weapon stats or other factors
If not hitscan they should at minimum remove bullet drop. It’s just an annoying mechanic that makes aiming harder than it should be.
Projectile bullets that are completely straight would be fine with me. (Although I’d still prefer hitscan)

My problem with projectile weapons is that any gun that's not a sniper or marksman rifle is barely usable from more than 70 meters away

I don't really hate hitscan but i despise how it makes every first-person weapon blatantly op, i think everybody remembers how stupid the red-eye and the mk-alpha were back in ch4 (you could quite easily beam people from 200-250m away while they were flying) and i really don't want that meta back in the game, but i also think that they should for sure buff the speed of the bullet and decrease the drop for at least the ars (since they're really not usable at more than 150m)
One thing that i really like about ch5 weapons is that they have very little bloom, so your shots don't rely on rng too much compared to weapons like the og ar
Bruh if you're saying the mk alpha was op, then you didn't play during chapter 3 season 1. The mk-7 was BROKEN and you could laser anyone with it, and since epic was on vacation there was no one to nerf it. It was the best weapon in the game
I think they could def add some sort of new attachment next season that makes your weapon hitscan, that's the only real way I see epic doing hitscan this chapter
