My favourite trick must be sponge balls. It does not matter if the person is six or sixty. It is so simple for anyone to follow and gets the best reactions, especially when done in the spectators hands. Showing them two sponge balls, putting one in their hand, one in my pocket and when they open their hand there is two in their hand; simply amazing.
There are so many great tricks and illusions listed so far but my favourite is the first I ever learned, it uses the foundational sleights, double lifts, false shuffles, manipulations galore and it can be as long or short as you want it to be. Of course, the ambitious card routine is my all time favourite.

Favourite magic trick has to be "the nest of Wallets" simply because it was the first trick I learnt, it is relatively easy to do, and it still gets a great reaction.
Has to be double exposure by Asi Wind, over the past few months it’s the only thing that I’ve really been performing. It’s such a powerful effect and is structured really well. My favourite magic trick is definitely mini cube to chocolate by Henry harrius, we can do it on spectators hands,table, and we can even twist the cube to show that it’s a real cube.Overall, mini cube to chocolate is just amazing

My favorite tricks are Stand Up Monte by Garrett Thomas ♠️ and a oil&water routine out of Bruce Cervon's The Black and White Trick and other Mysteries book but both require a "special" packet. So if I dont have them on me, I usually perform an ambitious card routine or a self cutting deck routine. 🤓

Hello Nique. If put on the spot with no props/cards, my favorite thing to do it a free will type effect with borrowed objects. My favorite magic effect of all time, however, I would say prof nightmare/fiber optics. :D

Hi Nique! First off, this was another GREAT and very in-depth review. Keep it up!:) It's hard to decide on my favorite effect but I guess if I could only perform one routine for the rest of my life it would probably be a good and solid Q&A. There's just no comparable routine in mentalism that has such a deep impact on the spectators IMHO.
