The devs seem very misguided on how "hype" works. In their recent announcement they said they take care to prevent any leaks or reveals in order to build up as much "hype" as possible for the update. I get this in concept, but in reality this just results in a massive lack of communication on the devs end, and instead of generating hype, everyone just gets annoyed, since there's nothing to do and the devs aren't teasing new content. They also say they do this to ensure new features aren't stolen by other games, which is also fair, but then why not just leak slight peeks at who the characters might be instead of teasing QOL features? You can't have other games stealing your ideas if you're not showing them off to begin with. It's super stupid, and I don't think that the devs really understand the scope of the issue, it's demotivating a ton of players. Another smaller thing is their response to the suggestions channel. There have been an absurd amount of great suggestions that have all been declined, and the devs never even give a reason as to why. Also pretty demotivating to see really great suggestions get shot down (and thus are likely to never be added) and then not even receive an explanation as to why. I still enjoy the game, and still think it has a lot of potential, along with a very solid foundation, but the combination of lack of communication, randomly declining objectively great suggestions, and the fact that they don't seem to understand they're hurting the game is frustrating at the least.

No teasers = dead game or lazy devs, apparently. It’s factually not true. If only you knew how much work actually goes on in the back, unseen by the consumers eye. Back in my days, I never knew if my favorite game would ever get another update and that’s something we just grew to accept. They didn’t copy aa they’re inspired by aa unlike ao who straight up stole the whole fucking game and yet their game was still ass unlike Av it’s a Marco simulator sure I will give you that but take a look at EVERY SINGLE ANIME TD GAME THAT RELEASED THIS YEAR it all has Marcos because it’s a grindy game but Av isn’t too grindy it’s just that people want to get ahead so I guess you could say the it is grindy but Av didn’t just straight up copy aa they were before they copied the lobby map then they changed it to something more unique and different and the traits and stats are unique compared to aa they also made it so that it’s easier to get rewards
It's inspired not copy, copy would be anime odyssey or anime realms, also you're still gonna play the update because you really do not care and will still make a macro for it lol
im not hating on vanguards and I did enjoyed playing it but@@XdXd-ch3bz can u tell me a single main feature that is different from anime defenders instead of units,animation and quality of life.

Honestly, still horrible thst the devs give zero communication. This is a VERY VERY poor excuse for not ever needing to interact and give an ounce of information. AV's communication was Horrible and its a poor escuse not to actually communicate. Its not like they NEED to do much either in my opinion either, just sneak small little things without explaining stuff etc. Its a very poor excuse knowing a large majority of people do not care but would just like a variation of communication with the devs.

The lack of content has made people understandably impatient. I'm only level 67, and besides getting shiny units or Alucard, I've done everything I can without spending money. So, motivation to play the game is slowly dying, and I know a few people who have already lost their enjoyment of it. But the recent announcements are the perfect communication to keep most of us in check and to encourage us to wait a little bit.
I mean just fix their time schedule or fire those lazy ass devs that cant meet schedule they have dont it multiple times so how are they not able to fix it?
