Doesnt matter the middle finger case. For World no. 4 to lose to World no. 60 is a bit hard to swallow. This doesnt help when Chou shouted at every point he won in the last 10 points. It was just pure waste of energy. What to shout? You were playing a player 56 ranking lower than you and you celebrated for every single point won?
@@linustw It's how he motivates himself in a match where he's struggling. I agree the middle finger is awful but the shouting is fine because he faces away from the opponent for it
Athletes shout as a gesture of passion. When a hard game like this happens, every point u get feels like winning a lottery. As long as his shouts arent intentionally trying to provoke his opponents I dont see why it would matter if they celebrate their points. Hell evn when I play ranked video games I would shout when we got a good round. Its just human emotions at work, nothing more.
@@dickyminer3030 I don't think so. It seemed like he tried to grab LZJ's upper arm but his middle finger got stuck on LZJ's back. By his facial expression, he was probably too tired to care too. Also, why would he make a middle finger when his opponent made the effort to come over to congratulate? So his clarification that it was an accident makes sense.
@@bobmarley6306 If he was really upset and frustrated, he would react like how he did vs Ginting. But here, it seemed he tried to grab LZJ's upper arm but his middle finger got stuck on LZJ's back. @Lucas-ov9ky Sorry but I disagree with you. Chou was clearly very upset with the result you can see by his body language on final point, it would be a massive coincidence for his finger to get stuck like that and if it did, he'd correct it immediately. I love Chou and respect him a lot but this case was very clearly intentional in my opinion and in trying to explain it as an accident you're sounding like a conspiracy theorist tugging at straws 😂
Duh...badminton ranking is a joke. Got nothing to do with skills. It depends on how many matches you've played and won. So the more matches you played against weak opponents, the higher ranking you will go 😂😂😂😂😂
@princesendo8309 You are correct for rankings outside the world top 100, but to get enough ranking points to be within top 100 you need to play very high level tournaments and you only consistently get into them if you are genuinely a world class player. And top 20 is another level, it's impossible to get there unless you deserve it. The only time you'll see a shock result like this is with a young up and coming talent who is top 10 quality but doesn't yet have the ranking points, like Lee Zii Jia here.

agree. shouting does nothing.

shouting lower his cultivation base chance of ascending truly embarrassing 🙈
@drystick-dy1ub Sorry but this sentence doesn't make any sense, please rephrase.

11:17 thats where chou tien showed the middle finger
8:49, she said “it all depends who has the big balls to be the play maker”, cracked me up. 😂😂
Chou tien chen literally point the middle finger when hugging to lee zii jia😮
we call it is "koyak"🤣
Whats that @@zul9871

Exactly. Even though Chou had already clarified that it was a mistake but it is still obvious he did this purposely.

The only time I've ever seen bad sportsmanship from Chou Tien Chen
he is KOYAK TERUK this time🤣
he already said that is by accident xd
@johnlim7534 There's no way that's an accident, you can see Chou was upset at losing in his home event and frustrated. This is his lowest moment.

He lost in the game. And he lost again in control his temper with showing the middle finger!🤣🤣
tnx for sharing this very crucial game, i like the confident of each player, congratulations to both of you
lee zii jia my idol ❤❤
Lee Ji Zia has all the attributes to be the world number one, but he lacks consistency in his game
yep. that's what i see in him too.
Dang I never knew Lee was that good at changing pace or whatever
9:57 look like the point to hit the shuttle is over the net
It was, umpire made a mistake there
In that case, scores would be chou - lee 23-21. Chou should've won that match.
@@gamingforlife7232 I mean the umpire made a mistake
wow great comeback
When was this?
2018
Ranking is not important until the game is over?
Lee zii jia on top!!
Updated how many years already
Isn't the highest ranking of chou tien chen world number 2?
He is world number 4 on that time his highest ranking is world number 2

Just like chest, world ranking ain't matters if the competition was rigged.
Should not reveal the result of the match in the title of the video.

Mr middle finger.
Shame on your Taiwanese. A
Sportsmanship zero..lancau this guy..
How can a man regress so much? The fact that his footwork and gameplay is very different from this day. LZJ today only like to smash and smash.
@@sereentunes You obviously have not watched his recent matches. He's playing a more rally style for more than a year now.
Chou what a bad sportsmanship👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 in Cantonese 輸唔起!
Shame on Taipei.. Booo
Long time ago. Now LZJ sucks
A senior player loosing to an up and comer is normal, but loosing 2-21 is plain embarrassing, especially if you talked so much before the competition.
Lee zii jia❤❤
lee can be good when he is at his best But he is at his worse, creating more unforced error with his style of play especially his returns
Chou koyak 😂
Hark.. the good old days for Lee Lao Yah.. ie before the head of his grew to big for the shoulders to carry! Wasted talent.. what could have been!
