Thank you for taking time/efforts and sharing your knowledge with us in a most simplest way possible. But I have a doubt - If EIGRP topology table is filled with the best route possible, then what is the difference between the EIGRP topology table and the EIGRP routing table. Are they going to carry the same information?

you have used 244.0.0.5 multicast address instead of 224.0.0.5 @ 4.27 in your video which is wrong. could be a typing mistake but just a correction. overall nice video...thanks

    • @SIKANDARshaik

      Praise be to Allaah.
The Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) indicates that it is obligatory to let the beard grow and that it is haraam to shave it or cut it. It was narrated in al-Saheehayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Cut the moustache and let the beard grow; be different from the mushrikeen.” (al-Bukhaari, al-Libaas, 5442; Muslim, al-Tahaarah, 382)

You forgot to mention "ip ospf priority". You skipped straight to the highest RID. If all routers have the default priority of 1 (or matching priorities), then it will choose the highest RID.

Sorry but I think you're thinking of the DR/BDR.

  • @droidcrasher
    @droidcrasher 6 лет назад +4

Please consider what follows as "constructive criticism" of your video.
First, let's correct the OSPF multicast ip which is NOT 244.0.0.5...
But rather one of TWO ip addresses: 224.0.0.5 or 224.0.0.6
Secondly, if you're to make an informative video in English....
It would be nice for you to slow down and PRONUNCIATE!
For instance when you pronounce ROUTER ID....
    It sounds like "ROT RIDEY".
I had to stop and back up 3 times...
And still I didn't get what you were saying...
Until I could read it on your slide.
    It's ROU-TER- I-D
    That said,
If not only I can't UNDERSTAND what you say when you say it...
But I can't READ what you write when you write it...
You make it incredibly difficult for me to get what you're trying to explain!
So please try to apply yourself when you write...
So your students can follow you.
Otherwise Great Effort and Thank You!

Yes the Multicast address of OSPF are two:-
224.0.0.6 is used by the DR and DBR, while 224.0.0.5 is used by DROther routers.
