Property 4 was perfect. I would have bought it. Even if the location wasn't ideal, that house was turn-key, move-in ready, and value for money. I would pick that and if I eventually find the right house in my dream location, I would sell it. A bed in hand is worth two in the bush.
All very well buying a property, but, what about the annual or monthly levies? Electricity/ water costs...is never mentioned. Staying on a golf course or on an urbanization with pool, property maintenance, eg, garden services, cleaning, security, ....costs. 🤔🙄
All of those properties shown were perfect holiday properties but it can be so difficult to choose when what you really want is another home away from home. Head and heart really do get confused and easy to understand why when you can see what's on offer for your money and the quality of lifestyle is just so good over there. Think they got a little swept away with it all. Personally I don't think they should increase their budget and buy a bigger space because from personal experience, family and friends would really only able to visit once a year per group. Most of the time you are on your own in your property.
do the buyers on A Place In The Sun think that the homes they view come furnished? I hear it so often that people comment on how much they like or don't the furniture I know that some of the homes come furnished, but then they tell them that... and in this episode this guy comments about the layout of the furniture in the living room in the Penthouse apartment being strange and then says they can be changed ...well who cares how the current people position their furniture? What does he think? That they have to keep everything the same? They don't need to arrange their own furniture that way
