I've just started to make a map of an area just a few miles north of Court Farm, in Clevedon. My first map, but drawing heavy inspiration from Oxy's maps for level of detail and immersion. Great work Scroft, perhaps you can tour my map next year 😬😄

For those not from the uk, don’t underestimate the level of detail put into this map. The houses are so accurate, I almost feel like I’m walking around a real town / council estate. Really looking forward to this map, the farm where you sold the junk has a lot of potential for a contractors yard, custom farm build and role play. Definitely something I’ll be doing on my channel. Thank you Scroft for giving us a detailed tour within the hour. Won’t be long until we can all explore the little details ourselves.

Really hope they won't take too long to release the console version because this map looks amazing. And even better, it's big with multiple farms so you have a choice of where to start on the map.

As someone who goes camping a lot and has always dreamt of running a campsite - and plays FS22 as a smallholding with a shed store selling eggs and vegetables; this map is absolutley perfect for my play style. I'm hoping to purchase a campsite for some passive income and start from scratch and build up to a farm. Well done to both Oxy for the amazing map - and scroft for the super map tour. Can't wait for this!
Great tour scroft, will this affect your farm hand series being a much updated map? How many productions does this have on it, it didn't look like a lot.

Calmsden Farm is the only map I've played on since i downloaded FS22. I'm really looking forward to getting started on this one. It will be nice to have slightly smaller and less labour intensive fields.
Scroft that road u go down @ the time 30:42 goes to Bradley farm where a youtuber called farmer p lives ! Oxydavid has done a great job on the map and feel like a kid at chrismas awaiting for it to get released for console
June 29, 2023 Wondering if you buy a plot that has buildings on it, that's not a 'designated farm', if you can then open the doors on the buildings and use them for storage? Since the introduction of the "enhanced animals mod" I can understand the reason why Mr. Oxy did not add them. This gives everyone the OPTION of whether or not they want to play with the "enhanced" animals becuz I'm sure not everybody does. Console players can't have them anyway is my understanding, which is sad indeed. Will console players be able to have the rabbits? (Probably not 😥) When you went to put chickens on the "main farm (Mr. G's farm), I was looking for the Ducks 🤣 I hope Mr. Oxy was not disappointed when the "enhanced animals mod" came out becuz I'm sure that was part of the intrigue for Court Farms, having them integrated into the map. Mr. Oxy should be extremely proud of this gorgeous map he's created and now even more players will be able to use it; especially the players that did NOT want the enhanced animals. So much potential with this map, even with Multi-player. AWESOME map Mr. Oxy, absolutely EPIC!!! Thank you Mr. Scroft for the map tour. Nicely done sir. Take care.

Really great map tour, you definitely say definitely manys times throughout this tour it makes me definitely going to download it and definitely play this mapp. I'm definitely going to play a multiplayer with my son as I know he will definitely like it.

he needed to reduce the map size, Oxy's plan was to have 2 parts on mod hub, One the map and the other part placeables. In the end, the animals caused a few problems that would delayed the map so he removed them so players can use the enhanced animal mod
Scroft, do you believe upgrading to the latest version of the map is a good idea? Or have you already made significant changes that would require a lot of time to adjust to the needs of the series?
FYI: OxygenDavid removed the animals at the last minute to save space and eliminate some other issues. You can add them in yourself with the Enhanced Animals System mod.
what a map tour scroft as you know i lost interest in fs now seeing this map making me wanna play it again and this is far the best british map apart from calmden farm oxxy this is his best map he done so far so relistic cant wait to play on it
@shb90 Scroft said grazing is set up in one of the field/pasture. I'll try and setup a trough to use pasture during warm month and get cows in during winter. I'll lack a bit of manure and slurry but seems like IRL to me 😊. Just like a big open pasture along the shed like in calmsden 😉. I haven't finish the video yet maybe i' other farms I can get that directly. I'll check the end this evening. But I repeat this map is incredible
Scroft, I watched your video map tour for pc. I was wondering a general question. On PC they have the baby animals mod feature that a lot of PC players use. On Court Farms do you know if the babies will appear on console version cause on console there is not the baby feature mod. I hope I explained this right. Do you know?

This game is a whole new world on pc. I threw away my Xbox a few years ago. Now I’m on pc, best decision ever. FS22 is a lot better, I can play Xbox and PlayStation games and I have way better graphics. 👍
Assuming a console is going to cost you around $500 new you can build a decent PC using previous generation parts for just a bit more. This would be more than enough to run the latest games and would be brand new. You could probably find a used one even cheaper. I am not against consoles, they have their place. But for games like this where you want total control PC is the only way. Learn a bit of Giants Editor and some xml and you can do anything you want from making your own maps or modifying existing ones to souping up vehicles. It is a whole new world.

This map has the only thing i didn’t like about Calmsden. All the yards you could want to be able to play the same map completely differently every time. Cant wait for it to come out.
Rabbits should provide fertilizer, fur, and meat. I knew someone in Oregon who had rabbits over worm beds to provide not only worms for fishing but fertilizer.
I think I read that he was going to add them all in but the mod done the job he was trying to do so left it out of the PC version to keep the map file size down. I believe he has added the extra ages and gender animals that you'd get from the mod to the console version though.
with this map is the cow manure visibile so you have to go and scoop it out or is it like calmsden where you need to place the agricultural manure pile and do it that way no one is seeming to answer
There are no release dates for mods/maps. Highly detailed maps with full custom buildings, textures, animals and animations take hundreds, if not thousands of hours to make. Most modders/mappers do it as a hobby in their spare time. Not as a full time job.
I'll be sad to move away from Calmsden after 1600+ hrs being the biggest farm ive used, kind of split between the two, defin: want Court farms maybe as a smaller venture, and stray back to Calmsden.... OXY your making a hard choice.:/

I'm at nearly 200 hours on my The Old Stream Farm map, holding out for Court Farms, excited to start new on it!

Yeah, you're correct, It's a lot of work to transfer over my save game. But I don't mind doing it for this map 👍

The map is amazing, but the fact there isn't any grass area for the cows in main farm is kinda weird. A shed with a pasture is still appreciated 😊.

No, you would need to use GE. It would have been a lot of work for oxy to have made this happen

hello...when is this map court farms coming to released.??planning was 8 months ago but stil its not there???why take that so long always??
There are no release dates for mods/maps. Highly detailed maps with full custom buildings, textures, animals and animations take hundreds, if not thousands of hours to make. Most modders/mappers do it as a hobby in their spare time. Not as a full time job.

I'm liking Elmcroft farm the most to I think.
I heard you can sell rabbit at certain age for profits. I don’t know for sure
I'll be sad to move away from Calmsden after 1600+ hrs being the biggest farm ive used, kind of split between the two, defin: want Court farms maybe as a smaller venture, and stray back to Calmsden.... OXY your making a hard choice.:/
