I live in Kolkata and I m very much proud for this city...in fact sometimes I drive here without any purpose with my friends just for enjoyment during my leisure time... 😂
I used to stay in New town 12 years back.....it's really amazing to see such developments.... It took time to complete but truly worth it ...
And now I am settled in Bangalore over a decade and got the pleasure to see the rapid development of Namma Bengaluru ..
even i didnt knew about indian cities that are so good , like kolkata newtown , hyderabad , bangalore , gurgaon , i only knew about mumbai , but now i can literally say india is growing rapidly

Jo aap kah rahe ho ki badi cities ke paas new cities banate hai, ise horizontal development model kahte hai jisse cities ka expansion hota hai aur crowd reduce hota hai, India doesn't have megatall skyscrapers like WTC NYC,Shanghai tower, burj khalifa because of this reason only , indian govt. doesn't wan't vertical development thats why we regulate building heights ,isse builders city ke outskirts me land lene ko majbur ho jate hai aur cities expand karti jati hai

I live in PCMC meaning Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation which has its own bus service which is in partnership with PMC or Pune Municipal Corporation and all the busses are being converted into electric busses or CNG busses there is no bus which runs on petrol or diesel in Pune or any other cities and states in India.
For delhi we have aerocity😅
Aerocity doesnt have residential apartments like New Town kolkata...Aerocity mainly consists of 3 4 5 star hotels and restaurants....dont compare it with a fully developed hitech smart city new town kolkata....

Goregaon... Noida bhi planned city.... India mein total 100 smart city project per kaam chal raha hai... Mein dehradun mein abhi rehta hun.. Yahan bhi smart city project pe kamm chal raha hai... Smart trafic pe kaam chal raha hai.. Roads se electric poll hatake underground kia ja raha hai.. Roads widen ho raha hai... Badi badi markets ko hatake market complex banaya ja raha hai
