Yes, Newtown is very modern and organised and beautiful especially at night. Eco park where the replica of seven wonders are built is spread across 400 acres. But as a citizen of Kolkata, I can say Newtown is only a new slice of Kolkata.There are lot of old part where things are not always the same.
Kolkata was built 250 years ago by British as the capital city of subcontinent and second only to London. The city has different vibes in different sides.... Both posh and modern as well as old and traditional.... I believe all ancient mega metropolitan cities of the world are similar... Kolkata is the cultural hub of India and highly educated intellectual people.... Best wishes...
