Hint on buying tires: You can save money on tires. Does Michelin / Pirelli / Goodyear make a good tire and the answer is yes, but you are paying for their marketing expenses. Check the traction and temperature ratings on the tire. Double A (AA) is the grade you want for traction and for Temperature you want to see A. As long as the tire has these grades, but happens to be a lot less than the big tire makers then you are getting a great tire that is cost effective.

I used to have 285s on the rear but the tires were dry rotted, and I wanted all season tires especially for the rain, so I downgraded to 275s. I daily drive my mustang and even though it hasn’t rained in a while, I still want to be safe than squirly all over the road, plus I hook better in cold weather and rain lol
Tell your mech you want him to change the rear end specs for a faster ride now that you have the clutch. Go with Nexan Tires also keep it factory specs

Check your clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder they do leak and wear out. Might save your clutch in the long run.

Another thing could be your intake gaskets could make it run bad until its warmed up and they seal better.

Regardless of your brand bias ford dodge chevy (I'm dodge) nothing beats an American V8 rowing through gears and they all sound great in there own way mustang challenger and camaro fanfrickentastic get it girl! 💪

I'm old school the car sounds great when you get going. I don't care for the popping that brings attention, it reminds me to much like boys in there little tuner cars, the Honda coming up beside me in my plain Jane 1994 Caprice, at the lights popping and trying to goat me. My car had a nice little throaty sound until you stepped on it. You see the plain Jane had a LT1 Corvette motor with a nice sounding exhaust. Would catch them and leave them way behind or nail them from the start. Ah the old days when cars sounded awesome and kids got there asses hand to them.
