@@fightingblind No, there's really no such thing as social credit. The system is way too high and augmented for China's budget and needs very advanced tech for that. With China having only caught up not that many years ago, this system couldn't have existed in the first place. Even if there is, it's only in cities and there still exists many rural areas in China. They can't monitor everything. Moreover, I heard from my mom on her last visit from China that so many people are breaking laws and no one cared. They are crossing over red lights and driving on bus drive ways

If anyone wants to watch a donghua under the same studio, I'd recommend "Link Click". It's gotten popular in CN and overseas but I think it deserves to get more attention. It's got 2 seasons out with a new arc announced to premiere soon! One of my favorites!

Chinese anime is often overlooked in the west,but they sure have good stuff,like Journal of Mysterious Creatures or Demon Lord who chases after his wife(it would be bit difficult to find them since I don't know the original Chinese names) The biggest thing is getting use to hearing Chinese instead of Japanese(or English...)
with chinese anime it either has a good studio behind it and is the most cinematically beautiful masterpiece you've ever seen or its some shitty 3d animation. For example, anime like "The King's avatar", "The Master of Diabolism", or "Heaven Official's Blessing" are genuinely some of the best anime I have ever watched. Hopefully, this is another addition to the former.
