You know, when th8 was released I didn't played it much, as it was way easier than th7, so I didn't notice this song (or almost any of the other songs, the one that I really liked was "reach the moon") Long time passed, I started college and got away from the games, but recently I started to play again, and I started with th8 (as in my mind it was still the easier). Then for the first time I noticed this song, and after looking for some arranges now is truly my favorite song.
Definitely one of the most beautiful piano arranges I've ever heard made for Touhou. Thank you very much to SHI, and to you as well kkcwkoh for this great upload!

@UpsidePickle The stage she's in is supposed to be a human village so it'd assume there are both male and female humans in it before she seals it in an attempt to protect them. (This is refrenced with her looking over all these kids.)
