Hi Arnold,
Thank you very much for this tutorial! I'm teachning myself QGIS as part of an ongoing project at work.
I have followed the steps and managed to link an image to a point shapefile.
However, the photo column in the attribute table uses a specific file path, so were I to send this database to someone else the images would not appear unless they had the exact same file structure.
I have set up a folder with my QGIS file and all the images, CSV reference tables, etc in it that can then be shared with other people while preserving the data sources.
Are you aware of any ways to either embed the image or structure the image file path in the attribute table so that the image is preserved even if the folder is moved to a different computer.
At the minute I can only think of making the database on a very simple filepath that most computers share such as C:\'Project Folder', and stipulating that the Project Folder must be saved in that location in order for the image links to work.
Any guidance if you know of a better method would be greatly appreciated.
All the best!
Hello, thank you very much for the tutorial! I have a question. When I add photos they appear very big although I put dimensions, even I need to scroll to the side and down to see the whole picture. What should I do for that? Thanks!!

Thank you for this! Is it possible to export this map using qgis2web plugin and see those photos?
very good! it should, webmap links with the content in your pc as it runs as a local host
if I reload the shape with the photos again, however, I have to put the settings back into the properties-structures layer otherwise I don't see them. How can I do?
only the routes are saved
I have tried to attach pdf and export as qgis2web it's not working. can you plz help me?
Upon attaching PDF, did it work on opening it?
@@arnoldkilaini Yes, it displays correctly on the map, but upon exporting it to a web page, only the folder path is visible
Hi, for me its not working, pls help me out
Can you explain at what step specifically?
