This was better then I was expecting. I actually connected to the new characters and was actually sad when our good guys started to die😩. I’m ready for the rest of the episodes.
I think if you go into season 2 realizing that it’s more of a part 1 and that season 3 will be a part 2 than you will really enjoy it. Just don’t go in expecting for things to be resolved in this season as this is a part 1. Hopefully season 3 will fully resolve everything in a satisfying conclusion
I just binged this in one day. Omg, a first for me, and there’s a post end credit that shows a new game with new players and it says Season 3 coming 2025.
I liked season 2 but damn why they end it like that. It was a downgrade for me. I felt more connected to the characters in season 1 than 2. They cut this season down too much.
I'm glad about a few things. Number 1 they didn't play the same games... I thought it was just going to be like season 1. I really did like the first two episodes. It was somewhat predictable because you knew they weren't going to k!ll off the main character and the villain. it kind of reminded me of hunger games, when they start playing the games in the beginning and then they started a rebellion.I feel like they spent too much of the episode voting. Each time they voted it was like a good 10 minutes. It really depends on season 3 if it's going to be a satisfying closure.
I was immersed and thought season 2 was a more psychologically driven season! And the wait for season 3 shouldn’t be too bad as they already filmed both seasons in a row
They already shot season 3 along with season 2. Technically season 2 is just part 1. They broke it into 2 parts probably 'cause Netflix wanted to boost figures just like how a lot of movies these days are part one and two or more.
I watched season 2 then rewatched season 1 then watched season 2 again. I was surprised by how much I missed or forgot. I think both seasons need to be watched twice to grasp most of the details. Overall, I like both seasons. Season 1 is better because it was originally intended to be one movie but it turned into a series then turned into multiple seasons.
Employee number 11 surprised me. When she was outside it showed her as a caring person toward a young child with cancer. Than we she got on site she became a heartless shooter. And did she recognize one of the participants in the game at one time?
yeah I do wish they would've made it a bit longer and I didn't feel to connected to characters so when it came to deaths it was sad but not as sad as season 1 as we knew characters better and felt connected to them
I enjoyed season 2, but some of the dialogue in English was annoying as heck. Specifically the little old lady and her son, the punk with the purple hair, I was rolling my eyes at pretty much everything that came out of their mouth’s. I’m not sure if it was the dialogue, the voiceover actors or both?
If you don’t have ultra high expectations, season 2 will provide a wild ride. Gi-hun, player 456, makes choices against his hero side. The tension between who is voting to stay and who wants to go is unreal. There are new characters to have some novelty, and seasoned people to reveal back stories. Unpopular opinion: I kinda wish the Recruiter and Thanos survived for more insight into who they were. I imagined everyone desperate enough to be in the games or regulate them had something hugely tragic happen that warped them.
The funniest part of Squid Game 2 was Gihun (456) actually leading a rebellion. Hell, I’ll go to battle with 067, 101 or 001 from season 1 as my leader but never Gihun (456) or Ali from season 1
I know it is not a popular thing to do, but watching the credits at the end of a show often yields good information. Of course, the credits for this show are in Korean, and impossible for many viewers to read, but near the end, Netflix did flash across the screen that the season finale for The Squid Games will be coming out in 2025. I enjoyed the second season, but I felt it was chopped in half with only seven episodes and ending on a cliff hanger.
I couldn’t get into the 2nd season at first but then I did. I knew the guy talking about his sick wife was the Boss. He was not to be trusted. The hero shouldn’t have given up the money.
@ 😮 Yeah, I didn’t think of that. Makes sense. The brother is on the ship with a Captain that doesn’t want him to find the island so he offed a guy on the ship. The brother needs more soldiers because it’s going to be a gun fight.
I agree about the build up of the characters. I also think he wanted the VIPS so much, understanding that they were a majority of the reason for the games, but there wasn’t much mention about it afterward. I also was a little disappointed that it ended in a cliff hanger lol It was extremely disturbing to see his childhood friend murdered in front of him, that was terrible but also reminds us again of the inhumanity and the brutality of the games going into Season 3. Overall, not bad Season 2. Not stellar, IMO but good.
I just watched all the episodes of Season 2 and for me Season 2 is unequivocally better than season 1. Man, it had me gripped, shielding my eyes, shouting is exasperated excitement and frustration. I want more episodes!! I missed the fact that the one of the girls in Season 1 didn't return to Season 1 and that the girl that I didn't care to see return, return. But it was overall just so good.
Season 2 was good but pissed me all the way off The lead made such stupid decisions like what was the reason for the uprising that was such a silly decision 😂😂😂😂
I always felt that player 456 was representing the average person. Not hugely bright, but could get by. I find him childish in his overall decision making and prone to constant gambling addiction. He is unusually lucky, seeming to resist grisly fates. Although we have very relatable moments of parenthood, compassion, grief, and altruism from Gi-hun, he is still just a guy trying to make his way in the world. I did find his revenge story line kinda disbelieving, since it’s so against his original persona from season 1. Still seems like a heavy risk taker, but also shows how he, like many working class folks, get sick and tired of the financial hardships they get in from unchanging systems.
Pathetic 😢.....Season 2 is an absolute disaster. Its almost a repeat of season 1 with game players even not meeting up the standards of season 1. I certainly wasted my 7 hours.
I actually enjoyed Season 2. Season 1 can not be duplicated it was the best so far. I'm still looking forward to Season 3
Right! I've seen many negative comments and reviews, but I thought it was pretty good.
This was better then I was expecting. I actually connected to the new characters and was actually sad when our good guys started to die😩. I’m ready for the rest of the episodes.

I have an issue calling it season 3 because it’s technically season 2 is a part one and next season will basically just be part 2.
If you watch director interview there was not even supposed to be even a season 2, but Netflix pretty much “begged” for it
I just binged this in one day. Omg, a first for me, and there’s a post end credit that shows a new game with new players and it says Season 3 coming 2025.
Yoo I never binged a series in one sitting before either till this 😂😂
Being on vacation with my family is a factor but boy were we locked in 😆😆
Much better than expected
Season 3 come out in summer or fall. Been announced
Maaaaane..... I didn't even know there was a part 2!🤦🏽♂️🤣 Thanx Brotha Avery!😁

im so excited for season 3 and its not that long of a wait!
we didn’t get a full season was no pay off
I was immersed and thought season 2 was a more psychologically driven season! And the wait for season 3 shouldn’t be too bad as they already filmed both seasons in a row
I agree. It was psychological in this season because the bad guys entered into the lives of the players
could've done without the subplot of them on the boat tryna find the island.
I agree but l guess/hope this storyline will be developed more in season 3
season 3 is coming out in few months. It is already done filmed and editing right now (director said on the interview)

This was a great video! You make great points no other youtuber makes, even things I totally missed. Definitely gets a sub!

There will be a third and final season B lol

she recognised the father of the young child I think!
Yea it was the little girls dad she saw him running to the ambulance and she returned the hat that the little girl dropped
Thank you🎉
Bro season 2 and 3 were filmed together it comes out next year around the corner.
Gotta wait on this one bit pls review The Sinners trailer. I love that they are giving us the bare minimum.
I enjoyed season 2 more than I thought. I also went into it with no expectations.
It was fantastic ❤ loved every minute
yeah I do wish they would've made it a bit longer and I didn't feel to connected to characters so when it came to deaths it was sad but not as sad as season 1 as we knew characters better and felt connected to them
Season 3 will be released in 2025!
Supposedly in summer or fall
How?! So soon?! Didn't it come out today?!
Yes it did come out today for the general public
@justmyopinion84 Okay, I see how it is. You're in the velvet rope (nod to Ms. Jackson) and red carpet line. Lol.

These characters i got way too attached to 😭

Which characters died and came back in season 2?
Tha loan Shark, his best friend..... that's 2
The recruiter!
He said characters that returned, not died then returned m8
Loved the new season! Sad it ended on a cliffhanger but will definitely be watching the 2nd part of the season.
Loved season 2!!! Can’t wait for season 3… all the character development made it worth it
The first one was sooo good, very curious on how season 2 will be!
The first episode of season 2 only deserves an Emmy. This season is fire.. but i hated the cliffhanger ending. 8.5/10

I tried to watch but I can’t do the blood and gore
Yea! The blood and gore is messy.
Lame lol just remember its not real blood and they were okay after the camera cut

@@turquoisepurple7sky151yes the cop who fell off of the cliff s1, was looking at his brother the boss in the black mask
I agree with the comment about the daughter
Season 3 will be actually season 2. They just messed up with the number. They named Season 1 Part 2 as Season 2. 😢😢😢

@justmyopinion84 had a rough week ! Thx for the noise 😊
I like season 2 so far, got some action in the end and I know season 3 gonna have more actions in it 🔥
💯💯
I wish they had just given us everything instead of breaking it up into season 2 and 3.
The first five episodes are filler.
The whole season 2 was filler. I appreciate the different character developments it just became a little overwhelming at times
@@conceited2.0It was to overwhelming
