    I have beats about the rain which seems was huge according to news.

      It has been rainy lately, but this is normal for this time of the year. Many of the Maya now still perform rain god ceremonies to Chaac in this season. It marks the end of our dry season and the start of the planting season. But as you see, it is still possible to have fun on tour.

      @@cesargarcia5390 There has been erosion on some beaches, this is because the currents have changed and Chetumal got a lot of rain which flooded some areas, so there has been some heavy rain, but not that big of a news event.

      @@EverythingPlayaDelCarmencom the news Perhaps exagerated the reality. I am glad it is not that bad. This season is always like that some years worst than others. In my city Guadalajara the temperature was high and far from the avarage we finally had some rain and grey clouds temperature decreasing. Just in time. Take care

    Thanks again for another informative video! I took a tour of Tulum from my hotel in Playa del Carmen back in 2012. We had a wonderful guide who took us around the grounds then we were able to swim at that beautiful beach, albeit small, at the bottom of that wooden stair way. Can you still do that? It had to be one of the most crystal clear, gorgeous spots I've ever swam at. I imagine though, the way the beaches come and go on that coast line, it may have been reduced to no beach at all making it unsafe for visitors??

      Thank you for watching our new video. We have been working more on these lately. The beach at Tulum ruins is closed when the water is high. the beach is totally covered in waves sometimes. It always was a little controversial since it is a Mayan ruins site and there was no place to change, and it made it odd that people were wet and sandy walking through the ruins. The Jaguar Park is a big deal that is being built that will change the whole area, most likely for the better, but more costly for visitors. We will have to see if they open the stairs and beach again.

    Hi thanks for this information. Is it a gd idea to take 3 children to the tulum ruins that are 11,9,9 and would we still get enough time at Xel-Ha or is it best to go straight to Xel-Ha and skip the tour?

    • @EverythingPlayaDelCarmencom
      @EverythingPlayaDelCarmencom  20 дней назад

      You will have enough time at Xel ha to explore and swim, but it depends on you. Do you want to see the ruins and see them? If you prefer more of a day just relaxing and playing, than a full day at Xel ha is better for you.

    on your site it ismentioned that there are limitation to what can be brought into the tulum ruins, but it seems everything goes at Xelha...so where does one kee the items needed at xelha that arent allowed into TULUM?

      You arrive on your tour bus from Xel Ha and they keep your things on the bus which is closed when you are in the Tulum ruins. The driver is with the bus and your things are safe there
