How much was the contract granted for? What regulations or protocols are to be used after these are removed? How are these safely disposed? That is what real journalism is. Answer the questions.

Since Cesium-137 has a half-life of 30 years, they need to encase it in great levels of lead. Lead is used to encase Cesium-137 and other radioactive materials because Lead is the best at blocking Gamma rays.

Unbelievable, so this company clearly has no idea how to handle radiation at all! How much did they get paid?

Im glad were finding out about it only a year later. What “federal contractor” is able to handle nuclear material?? We havent built a nuclear reactor in decades. Can we hire someone who knows what the hell they are doing next time? Like the Russians maybe? They put out a nuclear reactor every single year around the world and their fatality rate is lower then solar panel installation deaths.

What a shame it was a near miss, I would have loved to see the city quarantined as the citizens of Seattle seem convinced they have no need for the police or other various services.

Something is very wrong with you to wish harm to thousands of people you don't even know. Do you think you are a good person? Because you are not.
