Hugh is definitely a much needed, and welcomed asset to the MCU at this time.
@@jessecortez9449 Yeah well, the one talent they kept from the Fox Universe is the one talent that IS the source material (Ryan Reynolds) so they, clearly, already failed on that front.
During the shirtless days of filming, he was taking dehydration pills. That what gave him that really cut look. He has talked about this in previous interviews. Needless to say this can be dangerous. He also said that he was dizzy during those days of filming and had blurry vision.
He doesn't look any bigger in that movie. He looks dehydrated and full of CGI.

I think he only did one cycle for The Wolverine and then got off it. He didn’t put on a ton of size, just got insanely cut, but he might have done some stuff. Maybe it was just SARMs.
He looks like a regular physical worker, the abs you got to work hard for, cut out carbs and the chest is good genetics.

He looks more mutant in the wolverine. Which was sick.
I feel like he'd look more jacked up if he was on them. Looking at him compared to people that we know definitely use or have used them, he looks more natural. With the past decade or more they could've enhanced how he looks on screen through CGI and tech. But even if he does use them, it's his choice.
I'm surprised nobody said anything about his physique in "The Wolverine" that's probably when he was the fittest as Wolverine
They use VFX to accentuate his vascularity and muscle structure. In the earlier movies they simply didn't have the tech to do that in post production.

I've been watching too much on this so I can't pin down where I saw it, but I think they will be relying on CG for his suit scenes to touch up his physique. So as long as he's fit enough to bring the physical performance, I won't be mad at them for padding and CGing him up.
This 100%, they could make his supersuit green or animated, and i still would be happy to see Jackman as Wolverine once more, especially paired with Deadpool and if they keep the age rating of Deadpools movies, we might be getting another extra brutal Wolverine

I recall an interview he did for X-Men Days of Future Past when he mentioned dehydrating to look more cut during his shirtless scenes. Other actors have also done this.
