  • Snow Petrel Down Under is a documentary about the unique journey of brothers Matt and Ben and their father John as they set sail from Tasmania, Australia in Ben's 34ft Yacht Snow Petrel.
Their destination is Commonwealth Bay, Antarctica, the windiest place on Earth and and home to Explorer and Scientist Sir Douglas Mawson during his 1911 expedition.
Southern Ocean storms and Antarctic Blizzards along with stunning but dangerous icebergs and an incredible few days at the French Antarctic research station, Dumont D'Urville, are just some of the adventures to be had during the six week voyage.
