Rahul always loved anjali because for that he said "she can't love me is she can't be my best friend". At that age Rahul was distracted by the beauty of Tina but he always wanted Anjali to be with him. If Anjali wouldn't have left, they would eventually fall in love. It was when she left, Rahul realises how important she is to him but could not say because it was too late. It is not because of the change in looks, it is because he always had her in his heart.

This movie is based on twinsoul/twinflame concept. Tina and rahul had some karma attached but kajol was there from start in rahul's life and finally united with rahul his twinsoul / soulmate . Kajol's (anjali) short hair denoted she was in divine masculine energy in collge time but later when she grew long hair and behave like girl she came in divine feminine energy and finally balanced both. (hair is metaphor only ) back to comment , so Tina realised somewhere anjali love rahul but she also loved rahul so despite knowing she married rahul but later still she named her daughter "anjali". And continusly wrote diary about anjali( kajol) to her daughter(anjali) so , when she somehow got to know she will not alive anymore so her daughter will unite rahul kajol in real. 💖 rahul loved anjali (kajol) from start but his throat chakra was always blocked so HE was unaware he loves anjali in real but tina ( beautiful maya/illusion/ego/unconciousness) didnt let him see this !. But finally he (rahul mature) realised he love anjali ! when anajli ( kajol) was going to marry aman (salman). He realised he love anjali from start !

I still believed that he loved Anjali first before Tina but didn't realized it since they are still young at that time and they started as bestfriends. If Anjali stayed longer and never left, maybe Rahul will realize that his feelings for Tina is just infatuation and that it's Anjali whom he truly love. There's a scene where Tina told her Papa that she doesnt want to come in their way coz she knows it will turn into love someday, she knows it but unfortunately, Anjali left and I guess Rahul felt lonely and Tina was the only one there for him no wonder they ended up together. But still, Anjali remained in his heart that's why when Anjali (his daughther) mentioned "Anjali" when they're doing that game, the first thing that came into his mind was "Anjali Sharma".

I don't think so. I think that though he loved Anjali much strongly than Tina, but it was in a platonic way. Only with Tina he felt that young, romantic love. Later on when he met Anjali, he was in a much more matured and settled phase of life where a person mainly looks for strong companionship and comfortable love, and that's what he would get with Anjali. Even if he wouldn't have met Anjali, he would have been fine, but ofcourse not as joyful. For Anjali on the other hand, he was her one and only love. Without him she probably wouldn't have been ever truly happy.

But in case of movies bollywood is not dissapointing even now . Yeah many movies are worse and many are copy yet good , the movies which are original and the ones based on reality are superb and i would say movies are good in this era of bollywood even if music and songs are not but movies are good and with different content rather than same love stories in every movie but still bollywood makers need to improve fiction genre rather than copying hollywood or other industries .

I'm a bit emotional after watching this.. I remembered my first love. It was in 2011. I just started my high school and I met him on a hall. He was also interested in me so we started dating. We eventually broke up after our parents said they were against us dating because my father and his mother had something in the past. He dated other girls and I also dated another guy. Years have passed, we finished our high school, we parted our ways in 2014. He went to study in a big city and a year after I went to study in the capital.
