Awesome video and thanks for introducing my pretty home country! This year I’m gonna bring my kids back and enjoy the family overnight bike tour organized by Giant.😁 from Vancouver
Great video!I worked in the semiconductor test industry for many years and I have visited Taiwan many times for my work. However, I have had not a chance to visit the nice parts of the country you show in your video. The Taiwan people are probably the nicest and most welcoming people I ever met.
J'ai pu trouver mon bonheur le long des canaux d'irrigation. Y retourner, je considérais davantage la montagne.
6:28 OMG I saw this exact dude walking around Taiwan in another video just the other day. He was at the east coast at the time IIRC. Still going strong!
Salut Jonathan ! Bonne route mon gars !
@@jonathanbroy we did not ride. We were in Taipei only and there on family business. My niece and I are dedicated cyclists, so we tried to find a bike shop where we could buy a local jersey. We only found the $$$$ and lovely Rapha store. We'd love to go back and ride. The food is extraordinary. People are thoughtful and kind. After riding all my life in USA (where drivers are belligerent and culture is individualistic), im so curious about the experience of riding in a culture like Taiwan. So I really appreciate your video and it's focus on people. 👍🏽❤️🇹🇼🚴♀️
@@briananderson5102 Thanks for the response. I rode and crossed over 60 countries and Taiwan is systematically in the top 3 I recommend to discover by bike ! (Rapha Store is indeed $$$$ !)
Thanks for introducing Taiwan! I am very glad that you enjoyed my country. Please don't skip east coast next time! Taroko National Park is also a great place for cyclist. Just wanna share my view of the Chang. He HAS NO contribution of the modern Taiwan. My personal view, he was nothing but a dictator. In fact, if we only talk about modernizing Taiwan, that would be Japan.
I also visited the center and a bit of the east coast (and I cycled the whole east coast in 2018!) : ruclips.net/video/HeOmrIT2gm4/видео.html Also thank you for sharing your view on Chiang. I know he is very controversial to say the least.
Safey, clean, nice roads & friendly people. What more could you ask for?! Best of all, you aren't being monitored 24x7 like some fugitives like they do in China! Yuck!
Hi Tom! I ride the north east coast in the second episode ! ruclips.net/video/HeOmrIT2gm4/видео.html And I did the rest 5 years ago. Everywhere is beautiful in Taiwan.

Such a great country to cycle in!

What do you do with the box? 😂 then how do you get a box to travel out with the bike again?
Leave the box at the airport. Ask for another one at the end of the trip in a bike shop. It's often free.
