That's a beautifully made sculpt of Psylock. I love the force perspective and the look of her pose. Her portrait is absolutely stunning. I am glad I got one.

I was concerned when I opened mine and saw that skin tone. I figured it was grey because of the base and background having a nighttime theme.

I want to know what's going on with the strand of hair on the portrait. Mine doesn't have it, Gem Mint's doesn't, but ToyQuest's does, and yours does...weird.
Lol true but it’s based on a comic. That is true what you said and what I’m saying is not a shot at you but I hate when people want fantasy characters to be realistic. That’s the fun part about fantasy it’s not based in reality so you can do what you want wear what you want. I hate when people be like a woman want wear that in real life or a person want wear a cape. I know it’s not real life. That’s what I’m starting to hate about modern comics they want things to look like reality which is boring
@@dadarkknight36310 Sure I get it, it's "just" a comics but a realistic tone can be appreciated for a change. Superheroes are already cosmic enough even at the street level like Spider-man. I aslo expect a character to look a little bit like the role, for example would a skinny Superman work ? I don't think so.
Hey Jeff - great review. Speaking of PCS Robocop - do you still have your Oniri Robocop on Pre-order? They have been radio silent and the 1/3 PCS is looking more appealing by the day. What are your thoughts?
Those Eyes are amazing. Another great female Portrait from Sideshow, BUT they are overdoing it with the Paint creating Light and Shadows on the Statue.
I have to admit, I miss the days of alternate portraits. Obviously, a lot of companies are straying away from giving you 2 or 3 heads while still raising the price, and it does make me feel like I’m getting less bang for my buck. Even if you don’t use or display the portraits, it’s a nice gesture to have options to enrich the statue collecting experience, and even makes the statue feel more important rather than a cash grab.

And I don't like the perspective base, I think it look cheap and outdated. There is also a big seam on the shoulder, it too much visible for my taste. I will stick with my XM Studio Psylocke.
It’s a great statue for sure. The “skin tone” issue is a non-issue for me. The night scene makes sense and also it’s extremely rare someone’s face skin tone matches their body. More sun exposure, makeup, etc, all have different effects.

It's cool that they didn't go for the bimbo style. A true Ninja would have more like an athletic body.

I think the pose and sculpt are amazing on this. The forced perspective base and skin tone are disappointments for me.
