My favorite thing about this statue is that it caters to everyone. Awesome review Sisko! This Batman is so impressive in hand, camera pics and hd video still don't do it justice. Under natural bright sunlight, the paint app on the whole statue really pops. The bronze on the suit and the armor look metallic while the big shoulder pads remain dull to give it a contrast. I like when the sun hits the swords, very reflective and shining. My go to display is rage mode head, red bat chest plate, large shoulder pads a and duo swords. Thanks again! Looking forward to the Darkness review, hopefully under the same bright conditions. I really want the Darkness, but decided on XM Optimus Prime instead. Catwoman looks beautiful and the bike ....... I really really want this to match Bats.
I completely agree, pictures and video can't do this piece justice. I have always loved pieces with plenty of switch outs, so this statue is a dream come true for me. The Catwoman was stunning in person, and the Poison Ivy is shaping up to be just as beautiful. I absolutely love this line. I did actually film a Darkness review, but the sun was going down so the light was terrible and I was pretty exhausted from unboxing it. Basically the video's a write off unfortunately. And I had to pack it back up for storage that night so I can't have another go at it. One day when I eventually have my display set up and I unbox it again I'll give it the review it deserves. Great looking piece. I didn't follow it closely during it's development but the Samurai theme seems cool and the variety of switch-outs is definitely impressive. Thanks for the review and congrats.
I'm jealous of all you people! I recently joined a statue group and mostly everyone said that they weren't confident that my unit could hold a 20lbs statue let alone a big boy like that. on top of that, I have CP, so if I wanted to get new shelves I would have rely entirely on aid of others to that kind of job. thus I don't really think I have a hope of getting a big one like that anytime soon. I can't believe how much some of these suckers weigh. According to Prime 1 for example, the Joker Dragon vs Batman is like 93lbs!!! ugh. I wish I had a statue buddy to help me!!!!!! lol. Needless to say, Love your vids even tho they break my heart! hahaha. Cheers!

Hi. Yes, I did have an Iron Studios Batman on order but I ended up selling the PO. The retail is $1500USD for the regular and $1750 for the exclusive. Iron Studios is based in Brazil, so I had a retailer in Brazil who was sending it to me. I believe he still has some regulars in stock, so if you want one I can message you his details.

I think my problem with all these samurai pieces is they look like toys. A little world weary scrapes, scars, scratches would go a long way IMHO.
That statue is awesome. I love most of XM's pieces, even though a bit outside my price point... but this one....I might just have to get.
If you can find one for a good price he's most definitely worth it. It's a beautiful piece.
