For those of you that don't know, this is a cover of an already instrumental metal/rock album by Alph Lyla & Yuji Yoriyama (SRCL-2857). Alph Lyla is or was part of Capcom sound team, and Yuji Toriyama is a predominately Jazz guitarist that also composed tracks for the SF animated movie.
this is so awesome, i almost cried...im not even ashamed to say it bcuz this song along with street fighter 2 is a classic. listening to this in guitar form brought back alotta memories.

the pinky on the guitar is a recent innovation... it started around the 70s with players like al dimeola and john mclaughlin who came up with different fingering systems for runs... (ie 3 notes per string).... up until the 70s, the guitar was mainly played with 3 fingers... pinky occasionaly for wide stretches or chords

She plays very well, and her Ernie Bell Music Man Axis sound awesome. I have watched several vids of her and she plays this same guitar most of the time. Great sound.
