My mother still has this album, and now listening to it brings back so many memories of a time that was much simpler. Thank you, momma, for making sure we were up and ready for church every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday ❤
I remember My Mom and aunt Margie would play this album I remember Brother Frank would go to Lordsburg along with others from California, wonder what ever happened to brother Frank I remember he was a short fellow but pretty cool guy.
He passed away some years ago. There is another album on the channel where he sings in a trio with Eusebio Castillo and Ismael Veloz. The newest one was remastered and is dedicated to Bro. Frank's mother I believe. "Iklesia"
God bless you abundantly throughout your life sister Maria. It has been a journey. thank God we can still listen to the songs of our youth and when we fell in love with Jesus. A time of innocence indeed.
Paz de Cristo..... Sorry don't know. That was probably after Las Voces De Jubilo. I was still a teenager back then and think Eco Central came after that when I later moved to Los Angeles.. I grew up in the Delano church with the late Bro. Alfred Madrigal. I will be uploading other albums of that era that were just digitized from 33 LP's. I just loaded one album by Bro. Caesar Huerta who also came from the Delano church during that time. God Bless You.
I am sorry Anna, I moved out of Delano in 1968 when Freddie Madriaga was in Las Voces De Jubilo. Knew him well as he played the piano at our church. Bro. Madriaga left Delano some time later and passed away maybe 5 years ago. I will contact his Brother Danny and see if he can enlighten me or better, let me know if they ever made an LP. I would love to digitize it!
They have a Facebook account. Google it. Danny took the group over for awhile. If you do not find it, I will send you a link. PS I was raised in Delano and under the pastorship of Rev. Pilar Moreno. God bless you and sorry I just read your comment.
