The passing of this great man was hardly mentioned in the western media. A great General and nemesis of both the USA & France. After his wife's death in a French prison he dedicated his life to ridding Vietnam of foreign invaders once and for all. It took 30 years of bloodshed and sacrifice to achieve it.
A hero to the Vietnamese and many others, may his legacy endure !
