The seat base for the older MAP boxes, which both Paul and I have, is the cassette lid, with the handle removed. I do not know for the Mk2 MAP boxes. A much cheaper option if you bust the seat base removing it. Paul's video convinced me to ring Wickersley Angling and order a new seat. Hope it is nice and comfortable!
