She kept his name alive for 27years and waited for him cause she loved him. But what does he do?! He betrays her and treated her like trash the minute he got out. They would have never been Nelson Mandela if there was no Winnie. Nelson sold her to the dog's he wasn't there when she needed him the most, when they were tormenting her,he forgot who MADE him.I don't care who says what Nelson sold us out duck his legacy.Winnie should have been a president.

I am so saddened that my introduction to you came about on the 2 April 2018. I have vowed that I will no longer be ignorant of such an activist that is you. Your works, your sacrifices, your pains resonates like a soundboard of the same energy that is my Family Matriarchs has passed down to me. I am a African Woman that once I know of such hard earned wisdom that was your life, I will research your story and continue to live a better and more aware African Woman. Thank you for your passion and love of God's people.Thank you for offering your life to save our people. Thank you First Lady Winnie Mandela.

S'Negugu Zuke: I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And now my tears which I have shed for dear mother Winnie Mandela finds confirmation in your words. I cried many tears for her. I am still broken deeply because of the way Nelson Mandela treated Winnie. Just as you said, I have said that for all 27 years plus Winnie fought valiantly for Nelson. She visited him in prison. He himself said to her that he could not repay her for what she has done and meant to him, how she has supported him. Alone she took care of their teo babies. She was imprisoned for the cause Nelson started. She was tortured. Imagine a beautiful woman disrespected by those Apartheid beasts at the time. I hope they repent, for if they do not repent, they shall meet the same measure they meeted out in their terrible dishonor of a noble woman as Winnie Madikizela, and her people. She was, and still is a great woman. Yet, although Nelson praised Winnie so much in public he did not leave one solitsry penny for her in his will. This is the straw that broke the camel's back, which also broke my heart in tears both profisive and quiet. I love Mrs. Winnie Madikidela Mandela with a deep godly love, so my hesrt is broken over the manner she was treated. You are so right. You echo my very sentiment. I need to tell the world of men, as I am a man, that because of how he treated Winnie Madikizela, Nelson Mandela is not my hero. Winnie Madikizela Mandela is my heroine, not because she is perfect. She is not, but because of her heart of childlike trust, faith, and loyalty to her husband's cause. And I want to tell the government of South Africa and those who may have spoken against Winnie being the First Lady to the man she labored most of her life to set free from prison: what a big shame whose reproach shall never be eraced from history. If she could be called Mother of South Africa before Mandela became the first black president why could she not be the First Lady of the same country? The men and especially the women of South Africa should raise some awareness on this matter of unkindness on the part of the so-called Father of the nation of South Africa who treated his precious wife worse than a dog. Nelson forgave all of his political enemies. He spoke reconciliation and full restoration to former President Bill Clinton, a nice white man as he is, but Nelson could not forgive his hard working and self-suffering wife Winnie. I am not sure that he gave her anything at all for all her labors for him and for their people's freedom. He has determined the quality of her life by him divorcing his wife Evelyn and abandoning the children with her to marry Winnie. Evelyn says that he had committed adultery in doing so. Because women are made by God with a sensitivity to respond to a man's love for her, Winnie being a human being was faithful to her feminine nature responding positively to her suiter's love. She stayed the course Nelson left undone due to his imprisonment, because she loved him. She loved Nelson because Nelson convinced her that he love her. See the 27 years of dedicated love. See the prison tortures she suffered for 500 and 491 days. See the Brandfort exile and all other forms of repressions she endured, and you are looking at what her love for her husband looks like. And is that the way to treat such a valuable spouse? He failed to blame most, if not all of her problems on the terrible Apartheid system as the true scape goat that should bear all of the sins of the people it oppressed with such maliciously cruel hatred. Nelson robbed Winnie of fer free life by taking her beautiful life captive in an adulterous marriage according to the testimony of his first wife, Evelyn, whom he apparently divorced not due to any adulterous act on her part, but due to his felt desire to marry Winnie. This, in the first place is a moral offense unto God. The Bible says that it is a sin to divorce one's wife for any other reason than adultery. I am not saying that I condone abuse of a woman in any way. I don't. But this is,what the Bible, says of marriage. It is,until death do part the two lives. In moral reality, then, Winnie had no true husband. Yet, she labored for the man she thought was really her husband. She waited for him to sit together with her and children, and to get his love, but it never happened again as the first time before his imprisonment. Winnie is the victim here. Nelson Mandela divorced her because of alleged infidelity, yet his first wife reported that in leavining her to marry Winnie he committed adultery. See the double standard. Take note please, in reflection: Nelson Mandela forgave all his political enemies and gave inheritance to members of the ANC, reportedly. He pardoned Bill Clinton for alleged sexual scandal with Monica Leuwinski and restored him to his presidency, as a world icon; yet he divorced his second wife Winnie, after she was damaged by marital loneliness and aging longingness. The world of men needs to stop this double standard. We need to not only respect our women of the world as we should, but we also need to love them and treat them with the kindness and compassion that they both need desperately and deserve from their male counterpart. My tears flow from my eyes in brokenness of heart over Miss Winnifred Madikizela. I am sorry that I was not able to minister to her hungry soul the wondrous love of God. But I was recently comforted when I learned, and saw her in Nigeria in the congregation of Prophet TB Joshua. She gave testimony that she had a wonderful experience of the work of God in the prophet's ministry. I was so happy for our dear mama Winnie. I was so happy to know that she knows God for herself. And I look forward to see her in the heavenly paradise of God when Jesus comes again. What she was cheated out of there in SA by Nelson and perhaps, by others, the Lord will reward her for her faithfulness to her people's liberation from brutal oppression, and even for the good that she really meant in the deepness of her hearr. For man looks at the outward appearances; but God looks at the heart. I thank you dear sister. And forever you are my precious friend because you advocated for justice, mercy, and compassion for our dear mama Winnie Mandela. God bless you.

    An African queen-
    by Brendon Mokalapa
    Tribute to a queen,
    triple braver than her king.
Truly an African icon ever been,
    a travesty she never been.
    The none-trepidation mama Mandela Winnie.
    Even when vertically disadvantaged,
she fought until she was aged.
Confronting lions, not afraid of being caged.
    Her wisdom was not page.
A wife of tata, together unmatched.
Braver than some men she was,
stronger than even aliens from Mars.
Bold far more than an electroplated brass,
If I were to be a boxer; I would say heavier than heavy weighted mass.
Undisputed political fighter, when fighting relocating grass.
Mama; your passing momentarily circulates around our thoughts,
hearts bleeding blood believing you are not.
    Your destination we know not,
but hoping GOD predestined you outside a bad net.
Constantly complements about you we receive!
You have made it! That your time ends causing tension.
Leaving us rich and bombarded in depression,
but your no more; 2018 time of your repulsion.
You left us as an example to be in times of massacre.
Ohh! We shall remember a queen; who once visited South Africa. Her name is Winnie Mandela.

No matter what explanation I get from History Books and other sources, - I don’t understand how people (Caucasian) just entered a country and degraded them (Black South Africans) and then got all the significant resources????
I have so much respect for Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela. She sacrificed and suffered so much! #LoveSign
