No. A standard size garden hose is fine. DO NOT USE the elastic style garden hoses. Those do restrict flow. Sure, a system with light pressure for the in-take water is fine. Kranzle doesn't need it if under a 3 FT vertical draw.. As seen in the video, it's a non issue. The Kranzle creates the suction and will pull in the water with no issue.
The filter bowl below the level of the tank base is a bit of a bummer isn't it? The tank is destined to spend its life on raised platform. Could you not put the filter at the pump end?
No. This is a gravity fed set up and it works perfectly. That's one of the advantages of the Kranzle pressure washer pump. It is self priming and creates the suction where gravity fails.
Very good explanation thanks for the information
Glad it was helpful!
This was very helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
THANKS FOR THE SHOUT OUT (PHILLY DETAILING ON FACEBOOK)
No problem 👍
GREATLY APPRECIATED
Glad you like it.
Does it actually decrease the flow compared to a regular tap? Also would something like a well pump make it better?

Quick question what's the advantage in doing that compared to running the hose direct to the machine ?
You always want to use a filter. Stuff falls in the tank and the filter prevents it from getting into the machine.

Yes. If you like, it could go closer to the pump. We typically do it this way.
Will you need an additional pump?
No. This is a gravity fed set up and it works perfectly. That's one of the advantages of the Kranzle pressure washer pump. It is self priming and creates the suction where gravity fails.
do u lose any pressure if u use a water tank rather than a garden tap
No. This system is gravity fed and works perfect.
NEXT PROJECT RUNNING KRANZLE K1322TS OFF GRAVITY FLOW IBC TANK
Same set up. But, the next time we use and IBC tank, we'll try and film it for you.
do you lose any pressure useing a water tank rather than a outdoor tap
In this set up, no. The Kranzle is perfectly suited to pulling in the water and operating at expected performance levels.
whtas the diameter of the hose ?? and conectors ?
Hi. Standard garden hose. 22MM connection to the Kranzle. Standard connections from tank/filter to hose.
doo you lose any power or loss off water useing a water tank rather that a garden tap
Not in this set up. Machine works perfectly.
