@@user-ew3iy9jz8c "philosophy of education " is like asking the philosophical question "what is education?". Example: Plato is said to believe that talent was distributed non-genetically and thus must be found in children born in any social class.... When he thinks/asks/answers like this, it is 1) Philosophy of education. - When he begins to answer the question of How should we then teach? - he moves to 2) Educational Philosophy. It translates to: If he was the principle of a specfic school he would teach a certain way. That way is his "educational philosophy". He is said to have believed children is best off by being taught skills and problem solving from a different entity than the childs own mother. So if you send your child to a school of Platos you know as a parent what kind of 2) "educational philosophy" they teach by... You might care less about 1) "Philosophy of education", because when your child is sent to school you care more about the "How do they teach at the school?" than "What is teaching?"
