Cute card...i probably would have added a coloured base somewhere along the process but you know ...your plain white card base looked really classy!! 😊🎉
Soooo many cute ideas! I'm kicking myself for not grabbing some of those DT stamp sets when I saw them. I just figured they wouldn't work, but you're proving me wrong! Guess I'll be on the hunt for them now! Can't wait to see your video about the dies next. Another item I passed on and am wishing I'd bought.
Very cute video! I subscribed to your channel! You are so calm and you explain things so well! I’m glad I found you! I love The Dollar Tree store for stickers but now I’m going to find sticky notes and other Supplies too!!
Bethany! This is the perfect video that I was looking for. I've been seeing so many new stamping stuff at the Dollar Tree, and was wondering how to use them. Thank you for the clear and simple instructions!
It's so funny how Dollar Trees are supplied so different all over the states. We have some of the things. I love watching you craft Bethany. ❤ I also have a Bethany! 😊
Ahh I wish we have these products in the uk. The summer time stamp set is lovely, I’ve just brought a Misti on Facebook marketplace and saved half the price with it being pre loved. ❤ Thank you for the inspiration as always.😊
hi there Bethany! I have gotten into card making all because of you! You, Cathy Z, Jennifer McGuire... amazing talented ladies!! I was watching this video and had an aha moment. We can use our Cricut to make stencils! I am about to go into my craft room and make some. I figure it couldn't be too difficult to make basic shapes in different sizes. Thank you for all your inspiration.❤
Very cute! I thought the watermelon was a pizza slice at first. 😂 Totally agree on the thin acrylic blocks. Hard to hold onto & easier to get ink on your fingers. I’m usually disappointed when I go to “my” Dollar Tree, (an hr away) because they rarely have the cute things I see on RUclips. Sometimes, I’m happily surprised. 😊 Thanks for sharing! Oh! I make reusable stencils out out of plastic school folders or dividers. 😊❤️
I have quite a few dollar tree's around me if I take a little time to go to them. I don't do it all the time but they all carry a bit of different supplies. I actually did find a small pack of 12x12 cardstock with 2 different options, even glitter! I found a couple of the dies but haven't seen the hearts or leaves, I'll have to look out for those! My closest store is slowly making the plus transition and I've found resin and all kinds of pour paint and fillers. I can't wait to see what else this transition brings! As always, love your videos and ideas Bethany! And love that nail color!
Other dollar tree clear stamps I purchased are butterlies, birds, flowers on a stem, another pretty flower one with sayings, dream catchers, and one with hearts. The only one I tried was the butterflies and it worked well.
i just drove by a dollar tree the other day and got the crafter spidey sense that i should go in to look at their craft stuff, but i didn't listen and now i guess i need to go back
I cut stencils out of the tyvec material from postage envelopes from the post office. If you make them bigger, not so much masking is required. They last forever and cut really well!
Great video and like some of the responders, I wish my DT store had some of the stuff but I'll just have to take the initiative and just go to the store more frequently. I agree with the expectations like the one I have that I expect the DT store in charlottesville will have everything that you purchased and shared in this video. lol.
I have the stamping blocks as well as some of the clear stamps from Dollar Tree i can't wait to try them out. I might go get more becuse what I already have is all packed up somewhere right now and I don't know where at the moment. One day soon i will hopefully get to using them. I have seen the cutting dies but I don't really have a machine to use them in. I had a cheap little manual one from Wish but I'm not sure where it is plus the plates are looking a little scratched up from use and don't know where to get new ones for it. I am thinking of getting a better one some day if I end up getting really into card making. My Dollar Trees always seem to have a pretty large selection of the clear stamps.
Bethany, prior to watching this video I watched the layered Joy Christmas Tree stenciled card one. Beautiful! Would it be possible to make a layered stencil using Cricut? What material would you use to Cricut cut the stencil? Thank you!
Our dollar tree has about 4-5 different clear stamp sets. I have been collecting these items from dollar tree for about the past 6 months and have just been stuck on inspiration on how to use them as when I got them I was just so excited to see these items for so cheap I just grabbed them. They also have joy cards and insert sets that I think was really cool.oh and just a heads up…they just got in some iron on vinyl…Im not really a fan..like at all! It did work but I do not see this working as something that would old up through the wash. So I would pass on that.
Sorry, Brittany, but this is the first time I’ll have to disagree with you. I have pricey Sizzix dies as wel as dies from Dollar Tree and Temu. They all cut equally well. I don’t think a higher price is necessarily an indicator of better quality. If not for DT and Temu, I would not have the majority of my collection. Since not all of us have a large craft budget, we have to find more cost-friendly supplies. Please know that this is not a criticism, just sharing a different perspective. I will continue to enjoy your videos!
Thanks for watching! What I was saying in the video is that I think sometimes we place high expectations on dollar tree items, not remembering the low cost we paid. Naturally sometimes the items surprise us and work very well, sometimes not. I have filmed my video testing and using the dollar tree dies, and that will be available next week. :) -Bethany
My video testing the Dollar Tree metal dies will be available next Monday, August 7th at 8pm EST
Cute card...i probably would have added a coloured base somewhere along the process but you know ...your plain white card base looked really classy!! 😊🎉

Hi you are real and sweet and an inspiration
Oh, thank you so much Vicky! Happy to have you here watching!
Always buy basic silver /transparent gems.. Colour them with your alcohol inks or markers to match your project. 😊
Very cute video! I subscribed to your channel! You are so calm and you explain things so well! I’m glad I found you! I love The Dollar Tree store for stickers but now I’m going to find sticky notes and other

I haven’t seen die’s at ours ! That’s awesome ❤
Thank you Bethany. Wish we had a Dollar Tree here in South Africa.

As always, your wonderful style shines through, no matter where you get your supplies💜
Awe, thank you so much! I love that!! Means so much. :)

Thank you for the inspiration as always.😊
We miss out on a lot of dollar tree stamping products in the UK...stamps in particular...😢

The main reason I bought my circuit was to make stencils for cookies. They turned out great and I can make one any time i need something new
That is a really cute card! I love that color combination! It really has a summer feel to it.
Thank you!
Love your videos hon!! Thanks for sharing your gifts with us 😊
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoy them!
I need to check our dollar tree, that summer stamp set is cute!!

I think it really depends on the Dollar Tree. I have about 3 in my area, and some are really good while others are not as consistently stocked.
Really loved this card - I have a few of the Dollar Tree items as well. As always thanks for sharing…..!! Be blessed to be a blessing.
I have found several (6 or 7) stamp sets and dies ( also 6 or 7) at my dollar tree.
Love the card
Thank you!
Yay! A video!
Can’t wait to check out my Dollar Tree to see if they have any of these!
Happy Shopping!
@@BethadillyI found all of them and even an extra one 🎉 so happy!! Thank you for sharing your video!
Thanks for sharing stuff at the Dollar Tree!
And you can label everything with your cricut! Fun stuff!!!
❤

Love this! Thank you for sharing these cost effective goodies we can add to our craft room!
You are so welcome!

I use their foam tape, double sided tape, sequins, and washi tape all the time! Looking forwarding to seeing if mine has the stamps!
i just drove by a dollar tree the other day and got the crafter spidey sense that i should go in to look at their craft stuff, but i didn't listen and now i guess i need to go back
Ha ha! Sometimes they have such fun craft supplies, I’m always surprised and like to take a look!

This is so cute! We have had some of the same at out dollar tree but excited to see the dies!
OH I haven't seen the dies. I'll be sure to look for those. Thank you!
I was surprised to see them!
For the spoons, go to the baby section at DT, and that may help with helping with embossing powder.
Ha ha, that’s a good idea! I was thinking of some little wooden ice cream spoons or something!
My Sam's Club had people giving out samples before Covid. They gave you these cute tiny plastic spoons and of course, I use them for embossing powder.

I need to sort my sleeping pattern out 🤦🏼♀️ 02.10 in the UK....
I think I may start card making, it can be my something to do when I can't sleep.
Come join in the card fun!
Bethany, prior to watching this video I watched the layered Joy Christmas Tree stenciled card one. Beautiful! Would it be possible to make a layered stencil using Cricut? What material would you use to Cricut cut the stencil? Thank you!
Yes, you’d want to use paper. :)
I love dollar tree! Do you have a tutorial to make shaker cards? I have a cricut joy
I do! Just search "shaker cards" on my channel and a bunch will show up!
❤️🤗👍🏼
Hi - this is really helpful. I have good success with most of these things, except for the foam dots. Peeling the backing off is very “fiddly.”
You can try using a weeding tool or pokey tool! That really helps with tricky adhesive backers!
Such a cute card! Do you put anything on the back of your card example “hand made” or made by…?
Yes!!
What kind of camera and lighting do you use?

U can use this items for Scrapbooking????
Of course!

Why did my adhesive eraser get so hard? Is there a way to ‘fix’ it??
Why do u pat the blender brush on craft mat, isnt that wasting ink?
Why did you not stamp them all at one time?
You could, if you’d like. :)
I don’t think I’ve ever seen your nails not pink. 😂 just an observation.
